  1. Curveballs shall be purged in the minors, cutters will be learned by all.
  2. If Cooper goes, I imagine it's Jirschele/Zaleski. If Cooper stays, I think a vet coach comes in.
  3. Also, because no one has said it: Live by the Cordero, die by the Cordero.
  4. While I don't see it right away, I could 100% see him being brought back in the future as a guy the Sox bring aboard to help Latino minor leaguers get adjusted to the US.
  5. Man, Rick Hahn has this team on a timeline. Ricky blew it with that end of season collapse. I figured Ricky would get one more season and Jirschele would get one more season in Charlotte. Now I expect Jirschele to be the likely bench coach for someone like Alomar.

Sous vide. The things work like magic. Our lease was up in May - a very awkward time to move in NYC. But my fiance, our roommate and I wanted to move from our old place for a while (we kind of backed into since I didn't have a job last year when we were scouting apartments). Somehow we lucked into a house one neighborhood over for the same exact rent. One of the first things we bought was a charcoal grill.
  7. For some reason, I expect Rodon to be invited to Spring Training, but basically be on the the same short leash as Fulmer.
  8. If the Sox don't sell crochet blankets, idk what's wrong with them.
  9. Currently shouting over a balcony to a crowd. He says he's stopped taking medication - which again, he was receiving therapeutics, not a "cure." He's yelling about the wall. We could use those funds for coronavirus relief.
  10. When I opened a thread about favorite hawkisms, I did not expect them to be anus-based.
  11. Ok to be fair... Fox News has argued in court that no reasonable person could take hosts such as Tucker seriously as a news source.
  12. One would assume some liabilities are Kentucky, Mississippi, West Virginia, and Indiana to name a few. It'd be impossible to get into it farther without deviating from COVID entirely, but Indiana in particular has a detrimental effect on the state of Illinois.
  13. The people you're trading for pitching depth are your pitching depth. They just need to actually develop. Trading Mendick and Collins makes no sense when you lose Yolmer and McCann. Unless you're bringing in a left handed rightfielder, trading those young pieces makes very little sense based on the small sample size of 2020.
  14. Don't have time to go find the link, but Machado hopped the Padres fence during Hosmer's homer and was hollering. Which is fine, get hyped. But be prepared for the other team.
  15. Oh nooooooo. Upstanding citizen Manny Machado will not stand for this.
  16. There wasn't a need. They were drafting BPA.
  17. And the exact method of transmission.
  18. Remember that in February, the president told Bob Woodward COVID is 5x deadlier than the flu.
  19. Experimental antibody Supplemental oxygen Two doses of remdesivir Steroids World class doctors It's all good fam
  20. Philly just fired their GM and if they enter a rebuild, Harper may want to bail.
  21. Man, I'm struggling to see how. Everyone in the lineup has protection, no matter the placement.
  22. Assuming the Phillies are ready to tear down and rebuild, I'd assume Harper would leap at joining the Sox. I'd see if they'd bite on something like Cease/Stiever/Rutherford/Sheets. Maybe you throw in one or more low level sweetner, but his contract isn't friendly at this point.
