  1. Sanofi is the manufacturer of Plaquenil, the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine. From the Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/06/us/politics/coronavirus-trump-malaria-drug.html
  2. I did read it. Unless you're going to a full 40-man, injuries could be playing a factor.
  3. I'm mostly curious about the minor league situation. What happens in case of injuries?
  4. The thing is, most moderates support expanding to include a public option (Buttigieg's Medicare for All Who Want It as an example). It pretty much comes down to keep the employer insurance or nuke it.
  5. Yeah, the Democrats became the big tent party. You can have people like Manchin and AOC exist in the same party. Meanwhile, outside of blue state Republicans like Hogan and Baker, the centrist Republicans have essentially been purged from the party. It's a direct result of the Tea Party knocking out people like Eric Cantor and Trump's populism elevating candidates like DeSantis and Kemp to governorships.
  6. Oh my fucking god.
  7. @Moan4Yoan now that you're back I'd like an answer please
  8. Take a reporter out of college and they can take Bruce's spot. They might know how to avoid constant fact errors. Meanwhile, you attack a dude for his weight.
  9. I just realized, if all games are in Arizona... Adam Engel is gonna be a god damn All Star.
  10. Yet we all watched Daniel Palka play.
  11. Now we're at 9,000. Johns Hopkins had to update again
  12. Up another 400 since this.
  13. We were at 7,000 deaths at 10 am. Now we're at 8,000.
  14. Just to double back to you blaming corrupt businesses that knowingly employ undocumented workers, do you support them facing some sort of legal consequences?
  15. The war. They responded to the war.
  16. Cuomo keeps stressing he wants to work with Trump in partnership, not politics. Then the Trump says he'd like to run against Cuomo because Fox brought it up - Cuomo shoots it down. Trump suggests hospital workers are stealing masks, New York doesn't need ventilators, won't open the Javitz Center to COVID-19 patients as initially requested. Trump is forcing states to bid against themselves - and the federal government - for supplies That's not Cuomo playing politics, that's Trump willing to let thousands die to avoid admitting he hasn't botched this and Cuomo trying to improve the situation.

It may be frowned upon, but I wish announcers who grew up Sox fans (like Jason) would fold in Hawkisms and Farmerisms once they settle in. It'd be a nice way to see a vocabulary grow across generations of Sox announcers.

  19. He's not wrong when he says we need to think about who will be a competent manager.
  20. Peter Hotez has been a frequent face on CNN and MSNBC lately, so swing and a miss here.
  21. With a consumer economy, it's beyond devastating.
  22. Where it will magically disappear by April and is a hoax.
  23. There are some projections projecting 30% unemployment. That's the high end, but this is looking like 2008 on steroids.

I always figured it was love in the brotherly kind of way.

They might have been the weirdest fucking broadcast of any MLB team, but that's what made it work.
