QUOTE (Felix @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 09:18 AM) Haven't been online in ages, but had to swing by to see the reaction. Never change, boys! Understandable that you guys are disappointed by the return, but you'll fall in love with LaVine soon enough. Dude is going to be a hell of a player in this league. I wanted LaVine out of college bad. But nope, had to take Doug freaking McDermott. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 07:58 AM) So they sold Bell to pay for Rondos buyout? Actually to sign Jake Burger. -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 01:23 AM) This is an excellent post. I agree with you. We're all getting cancer from the byproducts and we're also f***ed because of cell phones. You can't tell me holding a cell phone up to your head for 20 years isn't AUTOMATIC brain cancer. Yes we're being poisoned every single day. As of right now, all research finds that it doesn't. Unless you've got a nuclear powered phone.

Lol. Trading Jimmy = Correct move. Giving up a pick with your star player = dumb move Picking up Bell in 2nd = great move Trading Bell for cash = beyond idiotic Fire GarPax and pray you get Porter or Doncic next year. -

QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 04:58 PM) Wrong Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reported Thursday that the New York Knicks have asked the Boston Celtics for a hefty return in a potential trade for Kristaps Porzingis. According to Isola, the Knicks asked for the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, the Brooklyn Nets' first-round pick in 2018 and forwards Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder. Bulls should have moved Jimmy before Porzingis hit the market. #3 + Brown + Brooklyn pick and filler might have been doable. Maybe throw in the #16 and a pick swap for 2019? -
QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 01:10 PM) So insurance companies can cover whatever or whomever they want, no matter what premiums have been paid? Yikes. Them about to get rich(er)! Source? Trying to verify.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 01:40 PM) That's actually kind of a good idea. Yeah, I'd do Fulmer for Schwarber.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 11:51 AM) David Kaplan @thekapman Cubs are sending Kyle Schwarber to Class AAA Iowa. Not expected to be gone long but it is an opportunity to clear his head. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 08:29 PM) I must be missing how his story is the next Blind Side or The Rookie. White Sox practically groom him as a player from a young age is a sweet story.
-
QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 05:15 PM) Gave him the bonus of a 34th pick, but was ranked from 57th to 68th prospect per BA, MLB, and ESPN. Pretty sure no one else would have gave him $600K above slot. Yet there were analysts surprised he wasn't picked higher

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 05:17 PM) So it could be people making s*** up. Wouldn't be the first time it happened. Example A QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 11:21 AM) So an illegal mexican hates Muslims? I thought that was just us islamophobic Americans? Big history of so-calledMuslim hate crimes being hoaxes. not saying it doesn't happen, it does. but ffs, just because a muslim is a victim of a crime doesn't mean they were singled out because they were muslim. Statistically they will be robbed, beaten, involved in crashes and otherwise be victim of crimes and accidents just like everyone else. The supposed 'wave' of Islam backlash has never happened, not even after 9-11.

Damnit.

QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 10:52 AM) Who or what did we give up for Youkilis? Lillibridge and Zach Stewart

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 08:37 PM) Not on this board. This place is Democrat haven, not heaven. We've got some real party poopers on here. I never knew it til Trump won. They assumed Hillary had it but boy they showed their real colors once the Democrats blew their layup in the last presidential election. I'd argue it's close down the middle, edge towards Republicans.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 10:58 PM) Too bad liberal hollywood isnt as good at meddling in elections as those pesky Russians. 30+ million for another loser lol. 0-4 so far in 2017. Still waiting on that referendum on Trump I keep hearing about from CNN! Clearly you didn't read the Buster Policy Update, so consider this your warning for trolling here.

So RNC accidentally leaks info of 200 million American voters. Kinda dwarfs emails.

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 11:36 AM) Nobody I'd rather want at the helm of an off season that will decide the next 5-10 years of Bulls basketball than Gar Foreman. A 1.7% ping pong ball has kept these idiots employed for 5 years longer than they should have Pax earned his time. Just wish he still called the shots which it seems he doesn't. But I'm with Steve - try to get Russell, get a haul for Jimmy. -
If this Republican charade isn't some of the most cartoonishly evil things to happen in politics recently I don't know what is.

What's everyone's ideal Jimmy package? I'd be asking Brown, #3 (Fox) and the Nets pick next year. Add salary filler. RoLo would be great for the Cs, but I don't know if it's possible to financially add Butler, Lopez and Hayward. You end up rebuilding around this... Fox, Grant, Payne Valentine, MCW Brown, Zipser Portis, Mirotic (no harm in keeping him at that point) Felicio Take BPA at #16 Then hope the Nets pick positions you for Porter/Doncic/Ayton. Supposedly Kings love Jackson, so you could possibly turn the #3 and #16 into #5 and #10 More likely scenario is Gar stands pat and signs Iggy. -
I could not care less about MIP when it comes to college freshman and alcohol and weed, coming from someone who avoided both for quite some time. Stones, glass houses, etc.
