And if they both suck, which Santana is more likely to do at USCF, you're stuck with his deal.

Nash would backup Melo, Brown would make Snell the primary SF backup, but would give another 3 point threat. I like Cauley-Stein because I think he can fit into Thibs defensive plan. Maybe BG can be brought in on the vet minimum as well, that'd Rose/Melo a lot of 3 point weapons while keeping the defensive big trio of Noah/Taj/Cauley-Stein.

Apparently Ervin Santana's name was Johan, but he changed it while in the minors due to Johan's success.

If the Sox got Johan and actually got some production out of him, I'd be so stupidly happy. He's the only opposing pitcher I've ever looked at each time he faced the Sox and go "and this is a loss."
