The Sox rarely fire managers so I guess the decision is when the contract is up. That podcast was interesting. The issue is he often repeats his mistakes. This organization rarely puts pressure on leadership and I think that eventually trickles down to players. If it were like the NFL he would lose his job.

Well if you give up more than 2 runs against a Cy Young candidate you wont win many.

This is not a .500 team if there was a full season. There's a lot of youth on this team. They only have two legit starters. I still think the management is a major weakness. The organization attitude towards management is a major weakness. This team over achieved in a 60 game season.

I'd keep Ricky over a fan's idea of having a former player with no managerial experience. Leave that bonehead idea to KW. If the organization is serious about winning you have to consider coaching as well.

The starters need to take their lumps instead of relying on the pen all of the time.

That's because it would be a waste for 80% of that lineup.

It kinda helps that there's a 4th hitter not batting under .200 like last year. I think he's far more appreciated when opposing announcers talk about him.

Usually when I watch it's listening to opposing announcers. There's been a few times they have questioned his judgement,

They are a superior organization. It's sad this team can't stay over .500 for an extended time. As other announcers have said this is a free swinging line up. There are times I look forward to Engel or Mendick at the plate instead of the studs, Plus it doesn't help when your ace gives up 4 runs.
