  1. they've been doing that pre arbitration Shouldn't they be removed from the AL Central on the basis of actually spending money.
  2. this organization has to have that consistency of suck in every dept. I think they will correct this oversight since it is called month and not day
  3. I hope they resign him. It's bad for baseball when teams can't keep their elite players.
  4. Cheapass teams should never get above a C. Trade their better players for prospect humping. The exclusion is the Sox of trading Robert, at least they will have someone younger playing CF. Imagine if they only got pitchers. All of these grades are often meaningless in a sport that is more injury prone. All it takes is a good starter to get the TJ virus.
  5. I don't even know how one would grade these. There are some new faces on the Sox and that will gain interest. How do the Brewers get a B+? or the Marlins?
  6. I enjoy the Fall League much more. Surprise is my favorite stadium.
  7. Leaving games for fans to watch on limited choice packages like ESPN+, Apple, Amazon. Seems like collusion to me. Take away viewing even local networks? I do pay annually for MLB but just like any of these subs the prices always go up. I think it's dangerous ground and the NFL may be heading in that direction. I may be speaking on ignorance with this.
  8. So true. I could stand on my roof and see the Ranch but prices are ridiculous. Ticket prices are not universal. You could go to a game to see them play another team that is equally bad. Check out the prices for Dodger games. My luck I would spend $$$ hoping to see Ohtani but he would have a game off.
  9. Hasn't he yet? Wasn't he like a 6th round pick?
  10. Most Sox fans do. If they can do some hitting but can't catch a baseball we want them to play 1st base. Nothing has really changed in this organization concerning that,
  11. maybe you imagined it last season and this season I've come across the A's being one of those teams breakout is a vague description, they way injuries are sports is very hard to predict The Sox and many other teams lack depth when it comes to injuries.
  12. Maybe winning the division
  13. It arouses my curiosity how fans and young players would react to having one of those living legends on the Sox any player not signed by spring training doesn't work out well I'll assume the asking price is way too high for both of them, even the big spenders haven't jumped.
  14. then you also have the atmosphere of players signing in the hopes of being traded. I doubt their goal is to remain thru the contract I guess my concern would be the guys coming in before the closer innings 6-8
  15. why" You're not the one who sucks
  16. funny how small market habitual losing teams sign to flip and waiting for their competitive (just around mediocre) moment to arrive. It's just a rinse and repeat. We are so conditioned to that. We would make perfect Marlin fans. Maybe some of you are young enough real winning will happen in your lifetime. The sign to flip takes less than 10 posts to show up. Quality pieces as we think. But what exactly are those? How many of those exist on the farm as of now?
  17. not unless the mid relief guys put it out of hand
  18. They could be the bully in that division just spending. That was the complaint in the previous offseason. The Cardinals are not the Cardinals anymore since they no longer spend.
  19. He has become a joke of an owner on planet Earth and seems clueless about that. Gotta get better quicker he once said promoting Getz,
  20. Have you ever been a fan of such teams that often fail in the post season? You get less sensitive too it.
  21. with hopes if they do OK it will be trade capital. There's probably more Pauleys out there that maybe they can fix and then trade them
