9/5 Sox@Royals
Time for a new pitching coach and every coach. If Grifol picks his guys they will suck too because he's from a s%*# organization. The media will try to spin it as a positive over their 2 roses that grew out of a pile of s%*#. BTW since Im in anybody but the White Sox mode I did see the highlights. It was interesting from the Royal's announcers. Many opposing announcers end up unintentionally insulting the Sox.

I'll report you for child abuse.

Lynn (1) and Burger (6) on biggest trade impacts,One month later, according to MLB.com writers, these look like best Deadline deals
He's still gives you a good glove. Not gonna happen since they didn't to Grandal

It’s official - Getz named SVP & GM
But they are bad at it. Rebuilding needs to be done in scouting and development. Hopefully spinning that Sox wheel of fortune is gonna pay off. People can mention teams have went through a few bad years and traded players. The reality is there are teams who still play that game and continue to lose. Those are the ones content in drafting, developing, retain coaches who produce the same result. Under those conditions the prospect humping haul is a myth. The Sox window of contention is called never.

Tow teams trading that are bad everything baseball, That will be interesting. Sox somehow still seem to come out losing.

Cleveland claims Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo Lopez
I wonder if the Dodgers could improve him and Cle is good at developing pitching. Plus I wonder what it's like for a player to go to a hated rival.

9/4- Sox at Royals, 1:10
That would depend on if the owners know what the are doing.

Zavala DFA, Cronin up, Lambert to IL
Nothing like having 2 talent evaluators who spent time with the Royals.

Sunday afternoon gamethread Detroit @ Sox
Maybe he's not good. Just more false hype we've been fed.

Moncada finally admits his preparation needs to change…beginning this offseason (ofc he will be a FA)
Modern baseball seems to have more than its share of brittle players. I wonder what players in the 70's and 80's.

Sunday afternoon gamethread Detroit @ Sox
Maybe he isn't good. He's been in the organization a long time. None of this shut down stuff either. The team shut down, make em work for their pay.

Talent evaluation and development are poor. Might as well keep those bad players because the trades bring the same result or worse. You can believe one day the Sox wheel of fortune is gonna pay.

Saturday night baseball gamethread...anyone?? Detroit @ Sox
You should be the manager.

Saturday night baseball gamethread...anyone?? Detroit @ Sox
Anyone but the Sox. Well no Royals or A's either but that is a given. I check up on former players. Abreu HR yesterday. I like to watch Burger. While watching Abreu the Yanks top prospect hit a HR on his 1st big league pitch. I watch the Cubs too. Then the most entertaining is Dodgers vs Braves. No lead is safe in those games. I should watch the Rangers too.

The case against Katz
No one has improved. The better pitchers have spent less time under him. The problem in professional sports is coaches and managers rarely fire their staff. Rare for a GM to do that either. If an outsider came in that would be the first thing they do. Pedro is here to stay but he needs a different staff. If he were to pluck them from the Royals they'd still suck. As someone on the radio said the Sox need to advertise the best coach needed.

What's Left For Sox Fans?
Florida is not a good state for major league baseball, only spring training.

So Idiot Jerry Said "He's Sick Of People Saying Bringing LaRussa Back Was A Mistake??"
Same type of manager, different name but HOF credentials for 2 years.

So Idiot Jerry Said "He's Sick Of People Saying Bringing LaRussa Back Was A Mistake??"
As much as I disliked RR he may have been a good fit for the time and possibly got better as a manager. Tony not so. Odd for a HOF manager to walk a player with 1-2 count. You'd think some of the things he did was from dimentia. Maybe the Yermin incident did more harm than thought. I don;t ever recall a manger ever doing that.

Sox Stat of the Night 9/1...
That is insulting mediocrity.

9/1 Gamethread Toussaint v. Rodriguez
Maybe it's because he has the least amount of influence under Katz.

9/1 Gamethread Toussaint v. Rodriguez
False hopes that a AAA buy is going to bring lightning in a bottle. He needed more time after being hurt before being called up.

What's Left For Sox Fans?
They'll be needing a team in Oakland. Ut will be like they never left.

Sox place Clevinger on waivers
He's been quite and not the center of attention. He's been the best pitcher so far. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up unless there are hidden words among GMs.

JR Speaks (gasp!)...
The reality is good scouts are not let go. You even have to play free agency in that. His comment was another dumpster dive. Plus your organization has to be attractive to scouts. Basically I interpret it as getting more failed orgznization people from the Royals.
