I don't think it's out of line to ask for the fans to show their support though. Plus he clearly identified us (the diehards), so I think what he was implying is that he would like to see more of our/this boards love for the team than a casual fan. It would be nice if the Sox had more recognition in the city than they do. It can't possibly help someones mentality to be on a shitty baseball team and also have empty stands.

I'll be first to admit, I completely wrote this guy off - but he is having a very good season. Great to see the Sox have what appears to be so much depth right now in the OF.

No clue. I don't think that covers it. I still count 26 active players on the roster. Weird thing is Charlotte's twitter said the active roster was at 25 with the move. Either someone else is going to be released, or someone's getting DL'd.

I'd personally like to keep Fry. He's a solid piece to start building the bullpen on. But if someone offers you close to anything Mejia is then you have to jump on that.

Same. Everyone seems to be talking about choosing one of Delmonico or Palka when/if Jimenez gets called up - I'm leaning towards DFA'ing Davidson and letting Delmonico/Palka split DH duties.

.293 AVG, .383 OBP, .463 SLG - granted, only 47 PA so a very small sample size, but he seemed to be doing just fine to me.

You can't help but wonder if he hadn't gotten hurt if he'd be in the Sox starting lineup right now. Hurry back and start raking again Eloy.

This is really the only reason to do it 1 for 1. With Arenado openly saying he is sick of losing, I can't see him agreeing to any sort of extension. If the Sox have any intent to pursue him after 2019, they better have a somewhat competitive-looking team by then.

I put him on my top 30 mid-season prospect list. I'd like to see how he does in Charlotte, but the numbers have been promising.

I think the leash on him is much, much longer. Sox need to have a legit long man with the rotation and all these blowout games. As bad as he's been, he saved the pen last night.
