QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 2, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) Of course!! Was that an error on Beckham? First it was an out, then it was an error, then a single. You can't play with fire with that line-up all night long and not get burned. Beckham played Hafners grounder to the side and didn't get the glove down...
-
That hurts. All the walks and Gordons lazy-ass attempt and fielding the Hafner grounder...damn it.
-
Piss Gordon. E-4. Scoring change...hit now for Hafner.
-
5 walks...eesh.

QUOTE (Baron @ May 2, 2012 -> 08:06 PM) Right now I dont know which one I dont want to see in the lineup. I wish we had capable replacements for both of these guys. If Gordon continues to be bad then last nights game could be a bad thing...because it bought him a couple of more weeks... Big blast for the big man!!!!!!
-
Big inning there for Humber. Might be able to go 6 now.

QUOTE (Baron @ May 2, 2012 -> 07:59 PM) The thing about Morel's at bat is he swung at 2 pitches that were balls. It was just a horrible at bat. That last strike by Gordon was brutal. Morels AB was the definition of awful. Took a first pitch right down the pooper and went on to get himself out on soft s*** out of the zone.

This is about as good as Tomlin will look all year....guys need to wake up. No hits and one baserunner through 3. It's only a matter of time before Phil gives a few up. He isn't overly sharp tonight.
-
Wow Cleveland...They're about as unclutch as it gets so far tonight...good job by Phil to get out of a couple of jams against some tough hitters.
-
Indians trotting out 9 lefties. Annoying. Couple of big K's from Humber there. Tribe leaves em' loaded.
-
Damn Hafner...that wasn't too good.
-
Didn't really take advantage of PK's mashing. 2-5 week...and one of the wins he wasn't even in the line-up. It's a funny game. Congrats to Paulie.

QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 30, 2012 -> 01:22 PM) I said it in another thread but 21 of 29 against the central starting Tuesday. So far they've shown themselves to be useful this season against the division. But if they can't do anything this month and inferior competition like Kansas City and Minnesota starts giving them fits then it's all over. That is a hole they will not be able to dig out of and itll be a long boring summer. 16, 17 of 21 is a must Jesus dude...16-5 or 17-4 this month vs. the division? A must? This is what your expectations are? No wonder you're so negative lol...this team must be a complete failure to you so far. You have to assume that they'll lose at least 3 vs. Detroit. So we're looking at 15-1 vs. the Royals, Twins and Indians? Hell...lets just make it 16-0. I would be ecstatic with 12-9 or 13-8 vs. the division this month.

Thank God the Sox finally get a day off. It's been a while. Good finish to the series.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2012 -> 04:15 PM) Gavin Floyd now 7-0 career against the Red Sox. 60-58 cumulatively in the majors. Hello, Brian Cashman? If Bard is pushed back into the bullpen (right now things have stabilized with Aceves), then you could also see the Red Sox making a hard push for adding Jake Peavy down the stretch. We can expect a typical White Sox season where they hang around too long for KW trade any of them away...inevitably the flaws on the team don't allow them to finish off the play-off push, and we're left with no post-season...and no prospects.
-
Boston has to be salivating at some of the pitchers they saw this week.
-
11-11...a game back after a month. The old saying goes that you can't win the division in April, but you can certainly lose it. Well...the Sox certainly didn't lose it.
-
Well...if you would have told me we going into the series that the Sox were only going to muster 10 runs in 4 games against Boston, I would probably would have taken 1 win out of the 4. GAS!!!! 2 down!
-
Staying with Thornton...need this win.
-
Way to go Dayan!!! YES!!!
-
This has just been a really bad day/week...

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 08:41 PM) Ventura's going to have a lot of questions to answer if he doesn't use Fukudome (Viciedo), AJ (Flowers) and possibly Escobar next inning against Aceves. I would let Dayan hit...maybe he runs into one. Then Fukudome for Flowers and AJ for Beckham...
-
I pinch hit AJ here...I don't even care. Put Lilly in right after that.
-
Oh for Adam to draw a walk here....

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 08:24 PM) Terrific. Shame our organization is backing him with guys who have no business in the bigs If we had this Jake Peavy the last two years we're a play-off team.
