I'd say they have Flowers pretty accurate. He should be able to put up around a 2.0 WAR defensively. His power and decent walk rate means he should be able to produce at or slightly above Major League average offensively. Combined I realistically see a 2.5 - 3 WAR for him, which I am more than content with. Maybe even higher.

He could have just made decision like any other headstrong young kid and rush back to play before he's fully ready, but now he's making sure he's taking the safe approach for the long term interest of the orgranization and the fan base. Grow some patience man. You will appreciate this when he's fully healthy again in the future. Thing is, if he waits until he's at the point he was before and without any discomfort, he'll be out for 18+ months. He's never going to know until he actually plays.

My second all time favorite guitarist. Nobody could play like Alvin and I mean nobody. Listen to the album "Ssssh" and you'll know what I mean. One of my main inspirations to start playing guitar.
