I am happily married, but I have divorced friends who are amical with their exes (mostly for the sake of their children). Social events, parties, school functions, etc - watch them interact nicely towards each other. This is kinda how I feel about the current iteration of the Chicago White Sox. I've moved on to my other favorite "ball club" and hope the Sox turn out alright.

Dodgers did this with Miguel Vargas during Spring Training. He was hurt, and instead of holding him out of games, told him to stare at every pitch. He's hitting 220 this season but has some insane OBP like 400.

On the subject of the thread title... a rookie manager 2 weeks into the season. Ain't his fault the roster has holes and the bullpen sucks. This team isn't good, and its not something a rookie manager can overcome with savvy game strategy.

I imagine the wheels are in motion to cancel Soxfest this offseason.
