  1. Even if they took 1/3 to 1/2 of his salary I'd give him up for a C level relief prospect.
  2. Puig will most definitely either be traded or not traded.
  3. Let me know if you need recommendations for Louisville. I'm 8 miles away from downtown.
  4. Indy gets a lot of convention business because it's a lot cheaper. Can't compete with Orlando in the weather/entertainment categories though.
  5. I don't think the return for any of the big names is going to be worth moving them. Now, I'd give up Danks or Ramirez for almost nothing if the buyers are taking on the salary.
  6. I would like to see Danks and Ramirez moved and the rest of the team kept in tact.
  7. Yes, you start him tonight, and also every five games after tonight through the end of the season.
  8. So that happened 7 years AFTER the Cubs' last WS win?
  9. So the Angels (1) thought there was a reasonable chance he wouldn't clear waivers and (2) wanted him badly enough that they weren't willing to risk (1). Interesting.
  10. If Mexico wins Sunday, the US has to put the playoff game in Columbus, don't they?
  11. I've always used TripAdvisor instead of Yelp anyway. Does TripAdvisor do that also?
  12. So basically every fast food place in the state is going to close about 10% of its least profitable stores and put a whole bunch of people out of work.
  13. Refs may have been helping Mexico, but it didn't take any help from the refs to get the US out. That was pretty pathetic. I still can't figure out what Beckerman does for this team, and there seems to be a serious lack of quality defenders. And yeah, Guzan is no Tim Howard. I remember saying during the World Cup that Howard was the most irreplaceable player on the team and getting told it wasn't true because Guzan was almost as good. Nope.
  14. The Sox get a comp pick if Jeff walks, and they shouldn't accept a return that doesn't contain a player with at least as much upside as that comp pick would have, and I'm 100% fine with not trading him at all if that kind of offer doesn't come.
  15. I would definitely vote for Kasich, but I doubt he's still in the race by the time Indiana has its primary in May.
  16. My mom has this weird obsession with Scott Podsednik. She can't go to the 8/1 game but really wants on of the bobbleheads. She'll pay $20 for one or can trade a Sale or a Kittle. PM me if interested.
  17. I was able to cost-justify driving to Charlottesville once because of the combination of the flight being so expensive and the layover being so long. I got back over an hour before the other two people from my office who chose to fly.
  18. If it's work related I pretty much have to fly anywhere because paying my time in the car + gas >>> paying for the flight, but if it's not work related I'll drive as far as 10 hours. We haven't done more than 6 in a day with the kids yet but I think they could handle it.
  19. You just described perfectly why I drive anywhere within 700 miles. EDIT: And beyond 700 miles I only go places Southwest flies.
  20. This is a requirement they can impose upon their employees regardless of whether or not the ACA requires the employees to be able to obtain it.
  21. The change I would make is to have actual Play-by-play professionals on radio and tv instead of using analysts in that role.
  22. Can't stand him or any of the others with the "I'm so much smarter than you" arrogance.
  23. Colin Cowherd also leaving ESPN. That's two people I can't stand gone from ESPN in a very short period of time. If only Chris Berman were next . . .
