Completely agree with you. You try to draft players up the middle athletic type players. Sox can then have the flexibility of positional changes or making trades if you have an influx at a certain position.

I’m really interested in the development of Luis Mieses. I think out of all our international signings besides Roberts. He’s the one player that has the potential to explode. Twitchy and toolsy player. I’m really interested what the scouts have to say about his progress.

I hope to God we don’t pick Singer. His stuff will not hold up well at professional starting pitcher caseload. He scares the shit out of me that he will end up in the bullpen. I’m tired of drafting players because of extra Firey intangibles. If we don’t draft a hitter I will be so disappointed and start to really question what we are doing as an organization.
