Hankins was the major one who left, which was a bit of a shame considering he can play third base along with the catcher position, which is something the Sox could have used in the future possibly. Best of luck to him at the Yanks though.

Some real good advice being shared around in this thread, I've definitely taken something out of it. My two cents. As it's been pointed out, practise makes perfect. You aren't going to have perfect interview first time up where everything goes fantastically, it just doesn't happen. My first one for a casual job, I was a bumbling wreck, and wasn't very confident in myself. The more interviews you have, the more you get to open yourself up to the interviewer. Body language is also extremely important I've been taught from my careers counsellor at High School. You don't want to slouch back and look lazy in your seat, and sit on your hands because you extremely nervous. Make sure you make eye contact at all times, and be confident in yourself. Another thing to learn, is to actually have some information and know - how about the job you are applying for and the industry you will be possibly working in. My sister applied for a job at the Treasurer's Office for the National Government down here, and they asked her 35 minutes of questions about what she thought of taxes, super - annuation, how they work etc. If you can do well in this regard, you'll have so much better of a chance at getting the job. It's also good to have some questions to ask the interviewer at the end of the process, to show that you interested and want to know more.

A summary of my thoughts; WINNERS: San Antonio - Getting Nazr Mohammed for only a 1st round pick, that'll be in the 25-29 range and the long term deal of Malik Rose was a great move. Even though it could hurt their chemistry, Mohammed when he plays at his best (even though he is inconsistent) is an upgrade over Nesterovic. Golden State - A week ago it didn't look like they were going to be able trade Dale Davis's expiring contract and they would have just kept him and gotten the cap space. Now they trade him along with Speedy Clayton for a top 5 PG in this league easily when healthy. They're still stuck with some horrible long - term deals (Foyle and Fisher), but at least they've got some hope now. It'll be interesting to see what they do with Mike Dunleavy this off-season. Atlanta - Losing Walker in the short term will hurt no doubt, but frankly who cares. They should be losing games to get as many ping pong balls as possible, and trading Walker will alow Childress, Smith and Harrington all to start, which they need to do. Bogut or Chris Paul will probably be wearing a Hawks uniform in 2006. There have been rumors of Harrington being shopped though. Philly - Chris Webber is the perfect big man to pair with Allen Iverson. He won't clog the inside, and Iverson can drive inside and dish to him outside the free throw line, so C-Webb can hit jumpers. Short - term the 76'ers look dangerous. If Samuel Dalembert can start playing to his best in the playoffs, this is one team I really wouldn't want to face. WAIT AND SEE: Sacramento - Losing Webber hurts no doubt, but it's too early to judge. Geoff Petrie isn't a dumb ass (he stole Cuttino Mobley from us). Peja will probably get back to his best with no Webber around, and this will help their chances of re-signing him instead of Peja bolting to the Lakers when his deal is up. New Orleans - Probably an early loser for now, although Baron has hardly played this season, so it's not like they'll miss him on that regard. $22 million of salaries will come off the books for Davis and the Big Dog Glenn Robinson alone. The Hornets have to sign a major free agent this off-season (probably can't be a guard, a SF or PF most likely, or maybe Ilgauskas if they want to move Magliore to PF) to make this deal work. LOSERS: New York - Isiah Thomas must seriously be on very thin ice right about now. You do not trade contracts that expire sooner, for heavier contracts that expire 2 or 3 years afterwards for pretty much the same players going either way, for some draft picks that are going to be in the early 20's at best. I don't get the Mohammed for Rose trade at all, they've already got a little bigger version of Rose in Kurt Thomas. Taking on Mo Taylor could stunt Mike Sweetney's growth in the long - term if they play him as well. Boston - Doc Rivers, your locker room bickering just up about 95%. Ricky Davis can't be happy about this. Tell me this, how are they going to find shots for players not named Paul Pierce or Antoine Walker. Jim O'Brien almost made it work, but quit trying. Unless they can get Gary Payton back (he could be headed to Minny or Seattle), the Celtics are going to get owned at the PG position in the playoffs. Rivers is a great motivator, but I don't think he's a good enough X's and O's coach to make this work.
