  1. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/12/white-sox-trade-yohan-ramirez-mets.html The Mets announced Monday that they’ve acquired right-hander Yohan Ramirez from the White Sox in exchange for cash. Ramirez was designated for assignment by the ChiSox last week. Ramirez appeared in just five games for the White Sox, who acquired him from the Pirates via an early-September waiver claim. He yielded four runs in four innings with the South Siders but had pitched to a solid 3.67 ERA with a 20% strikeout rate and 9% walk rate in 34 1/3 innings.
  2. Jordan's ego is still bruised by her.
  3. Realistically I assume Getz will take the best package available, positions be damned.
  4. Why is this the case after a second surgery?
  5. And there you have it. tray showing his true colors.
  6. If the Sox do move out, can an expansion team replace them here, and do the Cubs have vetoing power? I forget if I'm mixing up sports here.
  7. I wish the fans would take it to a new level and make "sell the team" and "f*** you Jerry" regular chants
  8. If they were outside of 6, could they still get a top 10 pick next year?
  9. Ive always wondered if the Sox crowd will cheer up on news of Reinsdorf croaking.
  10. Am I reading correctly that we had the 4th worst record but got the 5th pick? Not great, but not a huge deal. The rule for next year's pick sucks ass though.
  11. "Also, what is their obsession with Padres players?"
  12. LOL. I chuckled out loud from this one.
  13. LOL. I just had to quote this because of the "this post is so full of fail" quote. That made be laugh. The common use of "fail" is an internet relic of the past. You don't see it much now a days. That was huge back in the day.
  14. Look at Greg all gung-ho for the rebuild!
  15. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/39033613/sources-brewers-jackson-chourio-agree-8-year-82m-deal "Nineteen-year-old center fielder Jackson Chourio and the Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to an eight-year, $82 million contract with two club options and escalators that can take the total value of the deal to $142.5 million, sources told ESPN." The old Rick Hahn special. Kid is only 19. Saw him ranked #3 overall in one of the big publications. Let's see if it works out for them.
