It's mind boggling how many bad base running and fielding gaffes he has had in his very short career. I understand a few, but he has had them with regularity. At what point can we say the scouting reports were wrong and he has a poor baseball IQ?

Stop it. Last year Foster and Marshall wouldn't blow those games. Those guys were absolute nails last year. Ricky got extremely lucky with the bullpen quality last year, and he still manager to blow it. TLR gets this team past the A's, without question.

Ricky got lucky with an elite bullpen. Imagine TLR with the bullpen performing that well. The Sox may have been in the world series last year if TLR was manager.

If Ricky was managing this team, Yermin doesn't play tonight and start 8-8. That has been the single most enjoyable part of this season. Even if you ignore that TLR managers circles around Ricky, that alone makes the managerial replacement worth it.
