  1. Point being on a Vaughn to Houston trade is that they have nothing else besides those two. It's gonna be tough for them to make moves this trade deadline. They might have the worst system in the league
  2. Vaughn to the Astros for Matthews and Melton I would do. Vaughn really does fit their lineup. Hitting behind guys like Altuve, Alvarez, Tucker, Bregman and Pena would be beneficial for him
  3. I don't think a Kopech trade is just him. I think he will be attached to Crochet or Fedde.
  4. Honestly a shame that he is going to come back. He doesn't deserve to be granted a starting spot. Sosa has been playing just as well just being recalled. Unless Sosa moves to 2B.
  5. Sox aren't going to DFA Benintendi right now. Jerry won't eat 3 1/2 years of a contract and he's not blocking anyone. Pham and Sheets are blocking Colas if you want to say that. But they should be gone at the deadline hopefully
  6. There was 0 chance Robert was going to get him. Outfielders are positioned in that point of the game where their arm can get there. Robert had to go back and to his left to make the catch. If he gets hurt on that throw, all of you would be bitching why he made that throw. Stop making it a bigger deal than it was.
  7. I'm gonna take a stab at the main pieces the Sox could/should trade: Fedde to the Brewers for Pratt and Letson Robert and Kopech to the Phillies for Painter, Miller, and Caba Crochet to the Padres for Snelling, De Vries, and Pauley
  8. The giveaway days definitely skew the numbers because good crowds always show up on those days. Plus, when the Sox face the good teams, Dodgers/Cubs/Yankees/Red Sox, half or more of the crowd is of the opponent anyway.
  9. Pretty sure Sox liked Gilbert in the draft too
  10. It's gonna be Schumaker, Santos, or Jirchele. Honestly, I would be ok with any of those three.
  11. Colas should go down because he's not getting everyday ABs, which he needs and deserves. Our dumbass manager insists on playing Benintendi still and Pham will play until he is traded. Is what it is at this point.
  12. Cannon, Thorpe, Nastrini, Bush and maybe Eder/Iriarte/Adams That whole AA rotation has earned a shot at the MLB this year
  13. He might not be, but I want to see him in the lineup everyday to prove that. There should be 0 reason him, Sosa, Lee, DeLoach aren't in the lineups everyday. Need to see what they have in them.
  14. He has 3.5 years of control. If your price isn't met, then keep him. It's that simple
  15. There's like 5 players worse than Colas alone on the Sox. Colas has done decent since he has been called back up. Like all the young guys on the team, they need to be in the lineup everyday
  16. Way too little. Painter hasn't pitched since 2022. I'd ask for Miller, Crawford, Caba and a lottery ticket
  17. Out of all the players on the trade block on this team, except Crochet and Robert, you take the best return you can get and figure the rest out later. If a team is offering two top 100 SPs for Fedde, you take that and run (as an example)
  18. Cannon looked fricken awesome. I don't think he projects more than to be a 4/5 starter, but with his stuff, you take that out of that slot. Lee had another hit and hosed someone out at second on a caught stealing. Nicky Lopez hitting leadoff is a crime. Dude has an OPS of .557. He's one of the worst baseball players in the league.
  19. Good. Hill sucks and he looks like a crackhead
  20. I thought Thorpe was good to great at times last night. Thought his stuff looked good, but you could visibly see he was shaking his head with some of his off speed pitches, due to the fact he was probably a bit amped still. Change up is devastating, fields his position well, and I think he probably could have gone 6 if his defense helped him out. Those two errors cost him 20 pitches.
  21. Very interesting. This has to be from the Padres
  22. I would not like this deal. Leiter and Rocker are both bad
  23. Apparently Robert is blocking a lot of White Sox fans on twitter, including myself lol and I have never tweeted at him or of him. He also sent out a tweet saying "Be patient. Better things are coming"
  24. No, there's a difference. Next year, Colson at the AS break will have 5.5 years of control. Crochet has 2.5 years remaining, first time starting, and probably won't resign. Robert has 3.5 years remaining, consistently hurt and will bring back a ton. Also, has Boras as his agent, so he won't resign. It's quite simple logic actually, especially with the loser Reinsdorf owning this team.
