QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 6, 2015 -> 08:55 PM) Brian Bilek @ChiSoxraBBit 7m7 minutes ago #WhiteSox talking to free agents with QOs attached. Upton is their prime target. Should be an interesting few days. There were rumors at the deadline that the Sox liked Upton. Is RaBBit (poster on here) now a reliable rumor source? Come on Brian, spill the beans!

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Dec 6, 2015 -> 09:46 PM) Don't forget the QO loss. Also, Eaton is probably better. If it is the one we gained from Jeff's signing, technically we don't lose or gain anything which IMO makes it worth it. But to me you HAVE to get rid of LaRoche or Avi if we sign an OF whichever one you don't trade is probably the DH or Melky

Not going to lie, I am not a fan of having other teams signings in the White Sox part of the website. I would much rather have them separate like they were before.

QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 4, 2015 -> 02:56 PM) To be honest it doesnt seem like many even care here in the US. What is up with that? I guess its a good thing because fear isnt spreading? It happens way too often, everyone is use to it unfortunately

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 4, 2015 -> 11:27 AM) Looks like an interesting season, but I'm still extremely confused as to the set-up. Seems like extremely unfair with all the mismatches of sexes, etc. They clearly have to have some twists to help normalize things. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I'm not a fan of having only one of your team members be in the elimination. Not a fan of the setup but I like the bloodlines concept (even though it should be called The Challenge: Cousins)

I need more zombie show talk...

I think the main difference between Dunn/LaRoche/Alvarez is the age. Pedro is still under 30 and is more in his prime then either Dunn or LaRoche when we got them.

2015-16 NCAA Football Thread

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 09:22 PM) I think that's a solid hire. And if he can keep Kuligowski on staff, that's big. It's amazing what that guy has done during his tenure. Best DL coach in college football. What makes it a solid hire? He doesn't have a resume for a SEC head coach. I don't see that ending very well -
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 05:07 PM) Oh fun....MTV talk again. Mr. Grumpy Gills

We get our own thread! Sweet! Screw the Walking Dead zombie bulls***.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 07:51 PM) Navarro will have to be facing some righties or Avila will play 80% of the time. Well he is a switch hitter so I am sure he will

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 02:22 PM) This conversation happens every year. She looks way bigger then before. Even my fiancee noticed rather quickly.

I think we have upgraded our offense at the catcher position from what we had and I am excited about it. Maybe I am just excited for a new face at catcher and I don't have to watch Flowers miss a 92 MPH Fastball right down the middle on a 2-0 count ever again

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 01:14 PM) Fun stuff. Looks like both CT and Zach are going to be a part of this, that'll be fun. I'm happy Cara is back too. Cara looks like she has been locked in a weight room

QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 07:54 AM) I took your advice and looked at the app store. Found one called Next Episode. It's free, but there's a Pro option for $1.99. I upgraded, and it's worth it. I think the best feature is What's Next. It will tell you when the next new episode of every one of your shows will be on. Thanks for the info. Maybe mine is only an android app.

20-0. There is no way they can win every game on their road trip

White Sox decline to tender Tyler Flowers and Jacob Turner

QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 3, 2015 -> 12:06 AM) I want proof that we are not just acquiring guys (like Baltimore used to do) and will be out of the race in June. We need to make some moves to acquire real ballplayers. OK we dumped Flowers. Now we need a GOOD catcher and one who can hit .270 with 24 homers and throw out a runner or two. Do those grow on trees? Are there even any catchers out there that do that? -
I am up for cheap contracts that force competition in Spring Training

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 11:43 PM) As am I. I'm also pleasantly surprised at how unexpected and un-White Sox it is to atleast TRY something different. How many people here had Alexi as our SS and Flowers as catcher? I'd venture to bet most here, because it's what we expected. Change is absolutely necessary with this team, mainly it's offense, and while I agree Flowers was hardly our biggest concern, he was one. Next unexpected but welcomed move should be riddin ourselves of Garcia I agree with everything except maybe the Garcia thing, not sold on that yet. I love that we are doing something different and the off-season has barely begun. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 10:02 AM) Hell yes. Should be nuts getting family involved. That crazy f*** from Real World: Skeletons should be a great addition. He almost had a quick exit lol. Dude has crazy anger and control issues.

I would take him over LaRoche all day

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 08:41 PM) Segura is horrible Not really and is better then our current crop of SS but I would still not give up Anderson -

QUOTE (lord chas @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 08:31 PM) I don't want to sound like Bernstein and make baseless rumors based on "sources" But hearing through my buddy that the main sticking point to this deal going through is that the Brewers want Anderson. I guess we will all find out soon enough That would be stupid of us to give up Anderson -

QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 07:39 PM) Another catcher to watch as a buy-low type: Devin Mesoraco. #WhiteSox-#Reds have had dialogue. #Reds need pitching. #WhiteSox need power. https://twitter.com/ChiSoxraBBit/status/672225749307400192 Ran across this. Not sure about the guy who tweeted. Mesoraco had a really nice year in 2014 Haha that is funny
