I don't think he was fully healthy. I've read that his bread and butter was the 97 MPH high fastball and he was pumping 92. It was weird

We already were told from Reinsdorf that he won't be fired or punished. As for the idea that he'll resign because he doesn't want to be a distraction, which I've seen a lot of people suggest, I'll just advise that you don't do that to yourself. It would be fantastic, and it's the right thing to do, but we're stuck with this guy, and I don't see a reason to try and believe otherwise. Of course, I hope I am wrong

I've really enjoyed the civil discussions I've had with people I don't agree with politically, both in the thread and in messages as a result of the thread. I completely understand why the buster is unlikely to return, but this thread might be an example of how it could potentially work. I've learned a lot about people's differing perspectives in a much more civilized manner than anywhere else on the internet
