  1. My only worry is that this somehow gets to the Supreme Court
  2. Yup, no matter what the actual results of the election are, tonight is a win for Trump so far
  3. Interesting. Thanks for these updates
  4. Not to mention he has literally admitted to assaulting women
  5. I knew Pelosi was hated by Republicans but I didn't know she was believed to be as far left as AOC until Greg and Poppy started asserting so. Where do people even get that idea? Do they see a female Democrat and just assume she's a progressive?
  6. My bad, that makes more sense. I just see it discussed all the time but haven't thoroughly examined the posts since it's obviously not happening
  7. I'm not sure what this board's obsession is with trading Eloy. He'll be on the White Sox for a long time. Vaughn or Kopech will likely suffice as the centerpiece for Marquez, even with the insane value of his contract. But I don't see the Sox pulling the trigger there.
  8. I see this has already been addressed, but I'll add that you shouldn't listen to whoever is telling you that Harris or Pelosi support socialism. AOC, sure. But the other two are as establishment capitalist as they come
  9. No, I voted third party. I live in Illinois so my presidential vote doesn't matter anyway. The main reason I went was because the local races are up for grabs and important
  10. I wish Biden was as far left as you think, I would've actually voted for him if so
  11. No, because that poster has already been corrected
  12. I wouldn't even say he has done the bolded. Nothing about Joe Biden suggests he's a leftist/socialist, as you said. It almost feels like the Trump campaign expected to run against Bernie Sanders, was surprised when they didn't, and was too lazy to change the gameplan
  13. The name thing is even weirder now after his interview this morning. I really hope he reaches out to them by the end of the week
  14. Thanks for sharing. We're lucky to have Fegan
  15. Second part of that tweet is interesting. I don't think Brantley is a good fit (not sure if he can play RF anymore) and Morton allegedly wants to stay east or retire, but obviously he named them for a reason
  16. I don’t buy his tweets as much as I used to, but that one is just regurgitating what Passan and La Russa said
  17. Isn't it interesting how the ones who lecture you about respect are often the least respectful people you'll ever encounter?
  18. Also mentions that players are having a tough time getting past his comments on protests. So that's great
  19. For those wondering about the lack of player support on social media, Evan Marshall "liked" this tweet https://twitter.com/emarsh31/likes
  20. And others believe that protesting racial injustice should transcend politics as well. Which brings us back to the original point: forced patriotism at sporting events might not be the best idea
  21. Obviously I think he'll know the roster by the time there are games, but it seemed weird to me that the only player he named in an hour was Tim Anderson
  22. Yes. I think at least one of Lynn, Wainwright (FA), and Yadier Molina (FA) will be on the team next year
  23. One more thing I'll add since I just listened to his conference. TLR mentioned that he places a premium on putting the ball in play, hates striking out, and thinks you still need to "play for one run" (bunt) at times. How do we think he would line up the 2020 Sox? I'd guess: 1. Madrigal 2. Anderson 3. Abreu 4. Moncada 5. Jimenez 6. Encarnacion/McCann (DH) 7. Grandal 8. Robert 9. Mazara/Engel (I would hate this but it seems to match his philosophy better)
