Q is really pitching well this year. Imagine if he gets pushed back to a #3 when Rodon arrives. I thnk we have a shot to have a great rotation in 2016. Now hopefully we find a closer by then as well.

Again Davidson is only 23 but he is still not hitting his weight in AAA.

I think the home plate ump was perfect for Carroll. He called the low strike all night long and Carroll did a great job of hitting the bottom of the strike zone. Now if the ump last night was not vcalling low strikes, the outcome may have been very different. That is the fine line for a pitcher who has to nibble.

You are not going to trade Viciedo for cash. The object of trading him is get a a player(s) back who fill a hole. So if you trade him and get another outfielder, a SP or C in return, you are not worse off. You only trade him if you get something of equal value back. The Boston article yesterday mentioned one of their 3 young right handed starting picthers in AAA/ML and a prospect. That might fill the 4th SP spot and maybe you get lucky w a prospect. You don't trade Viciedo unless it fills an existing need or unless you get what you perceive to be a better OF option.
