  1. A bit for sure. Has the same type of short arm motion and a good changeup that makes it even more deceptive
  2. If we do go college arm I like Justin Campbell. Big tall kid at 6’7 with a deceptive arm motion. Stuff isn’t jaw dropping but the changeup is a very nice pitch already. Curve could use some work, but it’s not bad. Probably need to cleanup the weird glove dip he does in his windup but everything else about his delivery is clean.
  3. Haven’t read through this whole thread…who are some of the players the white Sox are linked to? With my very limited scouting I don’t hate taking Sterlin Thompson. Not a sexy pick, but he has a relatively high floor to be a good hitting RF in my opinion. Has a good approach using all fields and a sweet lefty stroke. In theory, with his frame, more power seems like it should come
  4. I’ll take a walk over 6-4. Can’t just pipe 92 down the middle and hope for the best. It clearly even baffled Zeby since it took a visit to see if he seriously wanted throw another fastball
  5. Worked out….but why in the world was Cueto insisting on throwing fastball?
  6. Don’t know what the statcast says but not sure it’s possible to hit a baseball harder
  7. I wonder if this lineups up with Colas being seemingly unhappy with the Sox a week or so ago? And his promotion…even tho he obviously deserved it via his play
  8. Let someone hit a tailing 100+ mph baseball at you…if you’re even able to get yourself off of your couch
  9. Lol the takes on this board whenever something goes remotely bad are cringe worthy bad. I get the team is struggling, but some of you are outright ridiculous
  10. He had no shot. He was moving off the crack of the bat as he should have been…ball was absolutely smoked
  11. He doesn’t bring any value in the field when healthy so this doesn’t make sense. The only argument for keeping him in the field is that the roster was built full of 1B/DH types and there’s no choice. Although I’d argue Vaughn isn’t any worse than Eloy
  12. Do you just bring back Yaz as the DH and live with Vaughn in RF?
  13. Don’t understand how a professional athlete cant perform an athletic maneuver without hurting himself. Do some yoga or something Eloy, this makes literally no sense. It’s your livelihood
  14. Great so far for Lucas. Let’s see how he navigates the 3rd time thru the lineup with pitch count being 0 issue
  15. Great play AJ…now did he avoid injury? Looked like he might have kicked the wall?
  16. Of all things to complain about with this team…Graveman?? $8M isn’t a lot of $ for a quality 8th inning reliever and he isn’t old
  17. Obviously it’s a lot of unknown projection involved…but that fangraphs list in terms of value is pretty depressing
  18. Yeah, either the MonStars snuck into the Sox locker room and stole their talent, the entire team is coincidently all in a power slump at once, OR there is a common denominator. E.g: the coaching staff
  19. Anybody think Eloy has considered that if his front foot wasn’t damn near touching 3rd base he wouldn’t have to reach for every pitch?
  20. Seeing 2 HR’s in the same game for the Sox feels like seeing Haley’s comet
  21. I’d be more willing to listen to a flat earth argument than non-tender Giolito argument
  22. Again, and I stress….you are a moron.
  23. Which team is willing to trade for a cheap SP with a very good track record and not judge him on a less than 10 start stretch? I’m going to say it would be 29 teams.
