Isn't it likely that Semien or Garcia could be replacing him when Eaton comes off the dl?

So the lineup is probably: De Aza CF Beckham 2B Abreu 1B Viciedo LF Konerko DH Sierra RF Ramirez SS Flowers C Semien 3B? I kinda want to see Garcia get some time in center and at leadoff over De Aza. He is just ugly to watch hit.

Jordan Danks optioned to AAA. Looks like the outfield tonight will be the same as last night with Garcia as 4th outfielder.

With Kep coming back soon, they could possibly send down Garcia first. Give Semien a day at third today, a day at second for Beckham since he too is just coming off injury, then give Semien a day off or two and then get him in at second and third and a game at short before he gets sent down because without Garcia, there is no other backup at short. Taking a few days off in the next 10 days isn't gonna kill his development like people seem to think. But this above statement is also dependent on how far Keppinger is to returning.

Really wish the series was pushed out to late June/early July. No casual sports fans care about this series with the Hawks going on and playing Tuesday and Thursday. I really wish they would re-work interleague play in general to make it more balanced. Year 1: ALC vs NLC ALE vs NLE ALW vs NLW Year 2: ALC vs NLE ALE vs. NLW ALW vs. NLC Year 3: ALC vs NLW ALE vs NLC ALW vs NLE and then go forward like that. Each team plays each team in the other division home and away. Makes it more fair for each team in the division to play the same teams out of the division the same amount of times each year. Reduce the amount of games you play against each team in your own division and it becomes more balanced.

I would assume our OF would De Aza, Danks, Tank with Tekotte being called up or De Aza, L. Garcia, Tank with Danks serving as 4th OF and Gillaspie or Keppinger being activated off dl at some point. Our bench in a few days could possibly be: Nieto, Konerko, Keppinger, Garcia with Eaton to dl and Semien to AAA

I read on MLBTR that the A's might be looking to add starters. If we fall out of contention, which is possible with Eaton probably hitting the dl for a while, do you guys think it could make sense to deal Danks to them to clear his salary and bring something in for him? The A's now are paying Jim Johnson $10 mill to pitch in relief and he is a free agent after this season so paying Danks a few extra mill to start after this season doesn't seem like a huge deal to them. He may actually succeed better in that ballpark. Of course, this is all dependent on how we are doing in June/July. What do you guys think?

So who is going down for these two? Semien I would think along with one of Garcia and Danks

Ryan Goins got demoted and Getz got called up to play second for the Jays. They are such an obvious fit for Beckham if he can put in a solid month or two.

What are everyone's thoughts about Flowers? Hope for a big year and try to deal him at deadline if we are sellers or during off-season or try to count in him for the main core going forward?
