How could the ground crew not address the warning track wet conditions earlier. This would never happen at the Rate with Roger Bossard in charge.

September 22, 1959 was a day I’ll never forget, bottom of the 9th, Vic Power up with the bases loaded and 1 out, first pitch and a grounder to Aparicio, Little Looie stepped on 2nd and threw the ball to big Klu to complete the double play I jumped so high in our front room I almost hit the ceiling with my head. There are some videos around that show the DP as a 6-4-3, Fox was not involved in the DP that won the game. That 6-4-3 DP happened earlier in the game.

Looking at the radar it should be clear by game time. The hour by hour has it clear at game time with some rain around 4PM then clear again.

This team after losing 2 heartbreakers shows what it’s made of, these guys are tough as nails and there is no quit in them.
