  1. Also Dunn is hitting a bomb off of Chen today. Book it.
  2. No All Star Break hangover!! I feel like that was a 100% Ozzie managed team thing. Robin has done so well changing the mindset of the players, hopefully this will be the same. 2 of 3 or bust
  3. I honestly don't know what I'm rooting for more: The Sox to win the Division or the Tigers to lose it. Because I am so SICK of everyone (Soxtalk and the Media) proclaiming that the Tigers are stil the favorite and at various points in the year that it was gonna be when the Tigers make their run. I just want them to be wrong so bad haha That and all Detroit teams are classless s***bags, so it's not hard to make that leap.

So Hawkins is already a bust. 24 K's in 77 AB's. (I'm joking but I assure you some people on this board already do think he's a Bust)
  5. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 05:07 PM) what? you're finally being positive??? hell has frozen over. that said, 9 over at the allstar break and in first place? I'll take it! lotta fun right now. Can't help it. I thought this team might lose 90+ haha Doesn't mean I wont get frustrated in the 2nd half and turn negative again haha. The Sox in the past have been a team of differing halves. Let's hope this half was the "bad" one. I don't know if it's Robin or just NOT Ozzie, but a change in management has done wonders for a lot of players who sucked in 2011.
  6. In one word: Wow. Next person?
  7. I'm totally fine with the loss. This team doesn't quit. In the past this could have easily been a 10-0 blowout deflater. I'm also fine because I have nightmares of 2010, where, in my opinion a long streak leading into the All-Star break killed the entire momentum the team had. Yes they won the first game back against Minnesota (The eventual division champ) but it was pretty much all downhill from there. Minny won the last two games and proceeded to leapfrog the Sox and make the second half miserable. And honestly I'm sick of MY TEAM never getting national coverage. Sale possibly starting the All-Star game would be awesome in my opinion. And just seeing him against the NL's best if he doesnt start will be great just the same.
  8. Its fun to see any closer in your division blow a save but its especially nice when a couple of d-bags in Valverde and Perez do it
  9. I'm actually totally fine losing this game... Oddly enough...
  10. Axelrod listed as the starter tomorrow. So Chris might be available for Tuesday. It would be awesome for him and the team if he was named the starter. Besides the fact the he deserves it
  11. Three times in this homestand he has gotten the winning hit. Ridiculous.
  12. I'm ecstatic and scared at the same time... (Visions of 2010 dancing in my head)
  13. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:10 PM) 9 games over for the first time since 2010. Man don't say that. I'm already worried they wont lose until the All-Star break again...
  14. A laugher vs. Laffey is fine by me.
  15. There's no doubt in my mind, down the Road AJ is a coach in the Sox system.
  16. Goddamn impressive. Nothing more I can say.
  17. I assumed a loss anyway, but the Sunday lineup helps haha. Just fight it out Sox!
  18. Those are the kinds of wins that playoff teams get. Grinded out the whole game and came back to win in the end.
  19. Huge win! Huge Series win as well. Play tough against Harrison and see what happens but a series win is great.
  20. I swear if they get shut out today....
  21. So basically, we all hope Paulie can do something in the game. Cause Sale's not gonng pitch and, let's face it, Dunn will probably strike out in his only AB.
  22. Gotta stop with this whole four team race stuff. It's barely a three team race since nobody is really buying what the Indians are selling...
  23. There's your "healthy" Fister. Completely mediocre.
  24. Since the season is halfway over and the Sox are in first, and the division is bad, they will be in contention. So basically any out of division match-ups aren't as big a concern to me. So if they go 3-3 on this homestand great. Keep your head above the water vs. The East and West, and beat the Central = October Baseball. And anything can happen in October. So far Central vs. The East/West: Sox 16-16 Tigers 16-21 indians 15-13 43 of the last 76 games are all in the division, concentrate on those, and do you best with the other 33...
  25. That fastball is terrible and the Sox are swinging like its 100 mph with movement. BLOWN AWAY by 92. Ugh.
