I expected a split, I just thought the two wins would be sandwiched in the middle, not at the start. A split in the Bronx is really a winning series for a team in the Central.

I don't get why everyone just assumes Detroit is gonna magically turn it around? Have you watched them play? They are just as inconsistent if not more so than the Sox. No pitching outside of Verlander who's not the CyMVP this season, the worst infield defense in the league and an offense with Miggy and Prince that's scored 31 less runs than our Sox. It's almost the mid-way point and they haven't started a run yet, so maybe just maybe, they're not that good this season...

If Robin or anyone else wins a Series in the next decade or so that takes away Ozzie's special thing and your main defense of him. He won't nearly be as special, he'll just be another guy that won the Series. Yes he will have been the guy to break that 88 year drought, but he's also the guy that turned into an asshole and soured his legacy to lots of Sox fans.

Just looking at that list, Paulie will be #2 all time by the time his current contract is up. He signs another extension he'll be #1.

How could both Konerko and Rios not go yard right there on Wise?? Haha

I'm usually one to make bold negative predictions, but not this time!!: Quintana dominates. Not just cause he's a solid pitcher, just for the stories that will come from it alone. He's gonna be pitching with a chip on his shoulder. The Sox rock the rookie. Get some.

Stealing a win in the Bronx is awesome. Reed is still shaky as hell sometimes. Scares me, hopefully he only gets better with more experience Quintana tomorrow. Little bit of a revenge game? I'm feeling a dominating performance...
