I feel so bad for the Rays. Such a well run organization with great players but the WORST stadium in baseball. Oakland is bad too, but at least it's outdoors and they seem closer to getting a new one than the Rays. The Rays need to move to Orlando and get that Pirate Ship stadium idea going again...

I'm gonna be judging him on the two major faults of the last guy: - Slow Start in April/May (extending back to the Spring Training preparation) - Not getting it up for Division games/Praising the Twins (or other division opponents) too much before starting a series with them

So far Robin is right on track I'm so not the guy to ever put stock in Spring Training records, but for this team of freakin headcases Spring Records seems to translate into the Regular Season and April is lost before you even know it...

I know this doesn't really have an answer, SABR stats being born of the internet where everyone is wrong except you, but is there one defining SABR stat for Pitchers and Hitters that should tell you how good a player is? Like is there a consensus for both? I'm trying to get more into them, but at the same time it gives me a headache and I have nightmares of Math class...

AV club made a good point about Awake. The pilot is awesome gives you this amazing set up to the world these characters especially Issacs lives in and then next week it just becomes a procedural show with a twist. Procedural shows bore me to tears. Especially cop procedurals. So as much as the idea sounds awesome, as a series, I don't know if it would keep my interest...

I honestly wonder if I'll get another Sox park in my lifetime. I'm 28 now and the park will be turning 21 this season. How many years does it have left before it becomes old and outdated? In the years since '91 it seems like EVERY team has gotten new modern parks built. After Jerry dies and the lease runs up will the White Sox get a new stadium? 30 years from now? 40? Or does US cellular (or whatever it may be called in a few decades) be one of the oldest parks in baseball?
