No one is really pushing to replace either one so they should stick around. However, it's going to be hard to get this lineup more balanced (except at 2B if you add someone like Adam Frazier and add a veteran switch hitter behind the plate in Caratini). If you decline the TA option and make a trade for a left-handed MI that can play SS, I guess that would help the balance issue, though I don't know who that guy would be.

Yeah, they're not going to sign 3 veteran starters to fill the rotation at $10-15M each. I think Touki is a safe bet back and maybe less than that $1.7 figure.

Going to be tough to add 3 starters (assuming they move on from Clevinger. I don’t think they will add much payroll. They may even get him for less than that but you can have him be the 5th starter or move to long reliever if someone emerges from the minors.

This team is already so unlikeable to the point I don't think signing him would hurt that much. Although I do agree that he probably is never throwing a pitch in the MLB ever again.

Honestly, I've grown so numb to this team that I don't think I would be upset nor excited if we signed this guy. This team needs arms and you can sign him for cheap. Also, bring back Clevinger, our best pitcher of 2023.
