I did notice that Alexy was outrighted off the 40-man roster so we currently have 39 on there. Made me think maybe one of Marisnick or Frazier gets added soon. edit: the date certain MiLB players can opt out of their deals is coming up. Worth noting I guess.

You’re not getting anything for at least half those guys. Lynn is closer to DFA candidate than trade candidate, Andrus sucks, Clevinger sucks, López sucks. Maybe Grandal if he can start hitting again.

Idk. I don’t like Shaw’s chances of contributing much but I think he has a better chance of helping than Frazier. Clint is awful. Terrible hitter. Terrible fielder.

At this point, I don't even care. You have to at least deal whatever productive guys you have in the middle of the summer that have expiring contracts. At the very least. If there is a possibility of a change in GM in the off-season, probably hold onto TA.

Sooner than that if he keeps pitching well.

Funny thing is, the usual more optimistic posters here who haven't seemed to post here in over a week probably claim the fan base, Soxtalk included, is being too insufferable and overexaggerating. This team is insufferable to watch. I really hope their heads aren't buried that far in the sand where they believe we still have a chance. Edit: it's one thing if they were playing good ball and just getting beat, but it's not the case. Just awful effort every night.
