I would prefer to just fill it with young, interesting former spects like Banuelos as well but clearly they thought otherwise. I'm saying if the whole purpose was to grab a veteran to eat innings, Shields on a cheap deal and his (200+ IP) > Nova (161 IP last year).

Honestly, I would have preferred James Shields, a guy who tossed over 200 innings last year and the young pitchers respect, at like $1m than Nova.

Doesn't this not matter since nothing they changed in the past effected their own timeline? That's the way I understood it anyway. Anything that was changed when they went back just created an alternate timeline. Also why they couldn't get the stones in their possession and time traveling back to their present time, meaning the stones were not there in the past for Thanos' taking.

I posted something in a thread before the season asking if anyone else thought he was going to explode similar to how Baez did last year. Still early but looks very promising.

Still at least worth watching. Watching the progress of Rodon, Kopech, Cease, Lopez and Giolito and least gives you a reason to tune into every game. Edit: although, I would bet on them adding a starter in some way.
