Do the White Sox have too much starting pitching?
For what it's worth, people have penciled in Palka and Davidson into the future starting lineup at some points this year only for them to come back to earth.

Do the White Sox have too much starting pitching?
Too much pitching? Based on what? A pitcher is who on the DL often and when he isn't, is working his way back from injury, two guys with short track records of success, and a guy with a 7 ERA. And that doesn't even count the question marks not at the MLB level. Point is, no one is really proven so we are not at a point where we can say we have "too much."

Dylan Covey
The rebuild is going to see some top prospects succeed, top prospects fail, and success from guys no one would have thought of it coming from. Covey definitely fall into that last category with his stuff.

Nate Jones to DL, Minaya called up
He meant in general, not just the Sox.

2018 Films thread
1. According to an article I read after the movie, it seems like it was premidated to start the events. 2. I think Charlie was possessed by the demon that the cult worships (explaining why she is so creepy). I think the grandma put it inside her at a young age (the mother mentions early on in the movie that she had a brother that was crazy and said he would say that the mother would try to put people inside of him) and then the demon was transferred from her into the boy at the end. http://collider.com/hereditary-ending-explained/

STAR WARS Everything
Just ask. There are a lot of people who love Star Wars but have zero interest in seeing this (I have friends that fall in that group) and anyone who would really want to see it has probably seen it by now. I think you are safe without the tags.

2018 Films thread
I agree. It wasn't your typical Hollywood horror movie with jump scares every 5 minutes. And I totally get the comparison to "The Witch." The atmosphere was creepy throughout the movie.

Rec League softball
Oh yeah this game ended early. They only had one inning left anyway and the one team was being slaughtered anyway.

Rec League softball
Almost witnessed this in a Sunday baseball league in the game before ours earlier this year. Team was down 13-2 and they were talking shit to the other team. Pitcher (for the team that was losing) struck out a guy and yelled at him to sit down. Next guy hit a grounder back at the pitcher and he started chasing him down the line before throwing him out. The guy went up to the pitcher and benches cleared.

Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
If he's going to come up in September, I hope he doesn't start the year on the MLB team next year. If you're going to call him up that late, you might as well wait until late April/May next year to get the extra year of control.

2018 Watercooler thread
When I watched, I had no idea they split the season to be released at different times. At the end of the last episode, I was so confused until one of my friends told me what they are doing. Hope its a good pay off at the end.

2018 White Sox catch-all thread
Because Greg like to argue topics while ignoring/without understanding counter arguments. Example: "we should listen to offers for Abreu and only trade him for a great haul. Only another year of control, wrong side of 30, and keep adding to a great system. Great numbers. We should get some key pieces easily." Legit baseball reasons. Greg however: "I can't believe all of you want to trade Abreu. His numbers are great. I don't understand why everyone here hates him. My gawd." Completely ignoring key points and thinking everyone hates Abreu. This is every Greg argument.

How eventful will be this years deadline?
Not as eventful(/fun?) as last season. That's for sure.
