They just read the Nightingale story on The Score. Sox have the best offer but O's might deal him to the Cards so the White Sox don't trade him to the Yanks at a point later in the season. They said no prized prospects in the package.

Teams move top 100 prospects for 2 month rentals. I'm sure any deal for Machado will also include at least one top 100. It's crazy to say he's not worth that when top 100 guys literally get traded for 2 months of a guy. Now is that worth it to us? Probably not but that's because of where we currently are.

I'm all over the place on how I should feel on this lol part of me thinks if we're even talking about a deal in the first place, that Hahn has the ok from Jerry to spend whatever amount it takes to sign him now. But if that is the case, they could wait. Unless they think another team like the Phillies beat them to it or even the Yankees.
