  1. The only reason they close it off is if the attendance is over 25k so its not overly crowded trying to walk around. So basically, only a handful of games when you need to worry about that. But either way, you can get to the Craft Kave when the lower level isn't open anyway.
  2. I don't believe it is voided if traded. It is definitely voided when he is a free agent however.
  3. Yeah if they were to sign Hanley, it would pretty much be to see if he can get hot over the next 2 months and you would trade him. If he sucks, you cut bait. Personally, I'd rather just play Davidson and Sanchez every day (unless Sanchez were to see time in the OF as someone on here speculated/posted about).
  4. DFA Garneau and sign some random free agent catcher to a MiLB deal to make room on the 40-man. Or pick someone out of Volstad, Infante, Minaya to dfa.
  5. They definitely like having a few guys in the pen that can throw a few innings since the rotation is young.
  6. I will fight you! But yes, the re-cut was awesome.
  7. And looking at Turner's Mets' numbers, dude was actually hitting when he was on the bench, blocked from a starting role.
  8. Literally no one wants to trade him because of his age. The main reason is about flipping him for more prospects. I think most, if not all, say we should only deal him for a high price OR extend him for an extra 2 -3 years beyond his current contract/control (OR even trading him and signing him after next year if he becomes a free agent). You have become so laughable on this board its amazing.
  9. Did anyone read this and think "wow...none of this relates to Saladino at all other than his age." Greg, Saladino is not a good hitter. Sure, he's having a good stretch but most players will go in hot and cold streaks.
  10. Was going to type a response to Greg...but what's the point.
  11. I would gladly take the "one and done" if it also meant watching competitive and post-season baseball every year.
  12. You're against all stats you eye test-nic
  13. This. Aroldis was out there every game in the post season. A lot of them for multiple innings and had only the 2 bad outings (or couple mistakes).
  14. Last year, they started out 31-31 and won over 100 games. Still early really. Plenty of time to heat up and run away with the division.
  15. Greg and WBWSF are hysterical. You think they could put together a .500 team when rebuilding when they couldn't put together a .500 team when going for it? LMFAO
  16. Ah fuck meant complete game. And lol that's awesome.
  17. Yeah Swihart sucks. Granted, I guess maybe they valued his position "flexibility" over Hanley. When you have 4 starting OFs and Moreland hitting the ball the way he is, there isn't much room for Hanley. Edit: granted, they do have Nunez and Holt on the bench and they can both play infield and outfield so who knows. I also see Pedroia getting time at DH when an OF has a day off (inserting Martinez into an OF spot and Holt/Nunez playing 2B).
  18. I mean it depends. If he's throwing straight 90 mph fastballs over the plate he'd just give up more hits.
  19. Shocked no one here has mentioned signing him when he is released. Not that I think they should but there's always that guy....
  20. I'm believing this to be the case honestly.
  21. Right and guys just maturing and getting stronger in their early/mid 20s.
  22. I don't think he will get sent down but I could see a brief phantom DL stint to get a little extra rest and get a little extra side work with Coop.
  23. I mean Danks got drilled in the head by a line drive and stayed in and tossed a complete game so I assume he will be fine here.
