  1. These guys are so busy pushing narratives I think they’re forgetting a game is going on.
  2. Can’t believe ESPN didn’t even show video of his curveball.
  3. TBD to be decided has Game 3.
  4. I would say we are fortunate to be facing a lefty starter who has been good but not great (high potential notwithstanding). A’s also missing their best player the rest of the season and next two best guys coming off poor years. Considering the pants pooping the team did the past week+, I think that’s not bad. Up to the boys to get it done now.
  5. EE down to .159 average for the year. He’s Dunn.
  6. I read about that. In Houston I believe. Poor kid.
  7. Cordero needs to get some work in.
  8. Billy Hamilton, ladies and gentlemen.
  9. Even in suspension, Cordero is Ricky’s go-to guy.
  10. How long until Ray Ray shows up and tells all the overreactors he’s any different than they are?
  11. I don’t see anything wrong with that. Sox job is to make that not happen. Failed. Like they always do.
  12. Tuned back in. Glad I kept drinking. Same old white sox.
  13. Anyways I’m out guys. I haven’t watched since Tuesday and my life has been better. Tuned in today and I’m already drunk. Getting too old for it. Best of luck for a win. Looking forward to the celebration if we win and Ray Ray trying to pretend he’s smart if we lose. Goodnight all.
  14. Nothing against you. Just a pet peeve. Einstein never said the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. He said something similar once, but only in respect to the scientific process. Just FYI for all.
  15. With Ian Hamilton being claimed, Luis Meises has taken over at #30. You know where to go for details.
  16. Hey if Rodon wasn’t able to pitch in that spot than why did they trade for him at the deadline, eh smart guy??
  17. Shit. Who’s gonna be our RH setup man? Huge loss.
  18. Too bad. If we had a slim lead in the late innings tonight he might have had a shot.
  19. I’m assuming the belief is Ramirez will win and his hits off Ruiz and Rodon are the reasons why.
  20. Rowand was an excellent CF his entire career, and did so without the physical gifts Engel has. One of the rare “gritty” players whose defense was not overrated. As far as Ricky goes, I find it easier to lose games because guys are slumping. In those situations I feel bad for the players. I hate losing games because of stupidity and that’s my beef with Ricky. I think he kind of exposed himself last night with his comments about wanting to see how Rodon would perform in that spot. He’s always been all about player growth, which has been fine given the teams he’s managed. But he either has been incapable of switching mindsets to winning as priority number one, or simply isn’t capable of basic bullpen management. I still think he can be a valuable part of a coaching staff, but manager of a contender might be a role he isn’t suited for.
  21. I can’t properly organize my thoughts enough to comprehend what the hell was going through Ricky’s head. It doesn’t make any sense he could be that stupid, but what other explanation is there?
