My favorite thing about Avi is that he always gives 100% effort when he is running out a groundball. Not all guys do that.

I will give Benetti credit for Sox Math (even though that could be refined as well...but that's a story for a different time). At least that brings viewers in. I just cannot stand the same corny jokes he makes and Q&A sessions with Stone every night. I'd much rather listen to Hawk's rants and stories from 1970 over and over than what Benetti brings to the table consistently.

That Trubisky trade is so dumb. They gave up THREE additional picks to move up ONE spot when it wasn't even certain that SF would take him or that there was a better offer for that pick. Trading additional picks is the last thing the Bears should be doing right now. Putting all their chips into Trubisky when they have so many other needs is absolutely baffling to me.

Jurickson Profar was optioned to AAA by the Rangers. Maybe the Sox can try to swing a trade for him. He used to be a top 100 prospect after all and isn't that old.

I really don't think they needed to trade up to get Trubisky. Just another example of the incompetence by the Bears FO.

I don't know about you guys, but Swarzak has been awfully impressive to me so far. He might actually be able to net the Sox a prospect at the deadline at this rate.

Sale had like 4 or 5 starts of 6 ER or more in 2015 and still finished with a 3.41 ERA, so I don't think it's out of the question for Q to finish around that number if he turns it around, starting now.
