  1. This makes me think their real target is Scherzer
  2. This would be awful for the Sox. No thanks.
  3. In what world would one year of Chris Bassitt cost Vaughn or Jimenez?
  4. That most likely doesn’t mean anything, although it is somewhat interesting because Garfien and the other White Sox Talk people typically try to carry water for the organization and temper the expectations of the fanbase. So for him to straight up say that is noteworthy to at least some degree.
  5. This makes zero sense unless Rodon isn’t healthy
  6. Escobar for 2B, Conforto for RF. Seems easy enough to me.
  7. Thanks guys. It says the tickets will be ready by Wednesday so I might sit tight until then. Hopefully the tickets come through with the seat numbers and all is well. This system of not knowing the specific seats is idiotic though and I won’t be using Stubhub again in the future.
  8. It says my tickets will be ready by the 6th or the 8th, so I’m hoping each ticket will have the seat number. I just don’t want to spend all the time and effort to show up only to have someone else in those seats. I don’t buy off of Stubhub that much so I’m not sure if this is a common thing or not.
  9. This is kind of an oddly specific question, but I bought 4 tickets on Stubhub for game 3 of the ALDS on Wednesday before we knew that the game would be played on Sunday. On Stubhub, it has the section and the row of the tickets that I bought, but a couple commas where the seat numbers should be. Is this common or should I be concerned? Can anyone help?
  10. The Ticketmaster process was a disaster. I had a 10 game voucher package so I got the code at 10 AM, but every time I tried to pick out seats, I kept getting an error message. I tried about 10 times and then just gave up and went to StubHub. Oh well. I guess this is what happens when there isn’t a home playoff game for 13 years.
  11. You can blame the Sox not getting home field more on La Russa than anyone else. He’s thrown away so many games this year because of the Sunday lineups.
  12. The correct answer is that it’s way too early to give a grade. All the guys the Sox acquired were brought here for October. It’s not October yet.
  13. Interesting. Wonder if this means that Tim is going on the IL.
  14. Luis Robert could be the best player ever. That’s how high his ceiling is.
  15. Heuer’s roster spot on the Cubs is very safe for the foreseeable future. He’s arguably the best reliever they have right now and will likely at least be the set up man for them next year.
  16. I’m just saying in general. The Cubs aren’t playing for anything so Heuer doesn’t really have any pressure on him anymore.
  17. To be fair, it’s a lot easier to pitch with no pressure. That also applies to Kimbrel.
  18. Don’t agree with Eloy playing in the field tonight but the lineup looks great other than that.
  19. How do you not understand that all these games still have playoff implications even if the division is wrapped up?
  20. Heuer looks awful tonight. Giving up rockets everywhere
  21. The White Sox are only a couple games behind for getting home field advantage in the playoffs but yeah these games are essentially meaningless. Alrighty then.
  22. Connor McKnight tweeted that he’s out for the season and then deleted it???
