  1. The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!
  2. I agree with you. Hopefully they will acquire some hitting this off season.
  3. I would think that most younger White Sox fans are not familar with Dick Allen and how much he meant to the White Sox franchise. I've noticed that the upcoming Bill Veeck night in August. There are not alot of tickets sold for that night even tho its a bobblehead giveaway and fireworks night. I would think that most younger White Sox don't know or care about Bill Veeck. The only reason why I'm going is because of the bobblehead.,I was not a fan of Veeck. I was happy when he bought the team the second time and I was happier when he sold the team 5 years later. I thought Veecks 2nd ownership of the team was horrible. He had one good team in that era. The rest of the years were terrible. If the White Sox wanted a big attendance for bobbleheads all they would have to do is have a Joe Jackson bobblehead night.
  4. I hope he is not traded. Who would replace him in the lineup, Michael Taylor? If Beni gets traded it would simply be a salary dump and we wouldn't get anything in return for him.
  5. I wonder if any White Sox executives were at Allens HOF induction today.
  6. Keep in mind that JR said he wouldn't vote for Dick Allen to be inducted into the MLB HOF. He said Allens career was too inconsistant
  7. I'm one of them.
  8. Most people are expecting some of the White Sox players to be moved at the trading deadline. Hopefully Jordan Leasure will be moved off this team.
  9. Levine has said this on the Score morning show a few times the last few weeks including this morning. We shall see. I hope he's right.
  10. Elko is not in the future plans of the White Sox. If it was up to me I would give him a shot at first base for at least a month. Looks like the team is not going to give him a chance.
  11. I would like to see Naylor signed by the White Sox this off season. Bruce Levine keeps saying the White Sox are going to sign some good hitters this off season. I hope Naylor is one of them.
  12. I've wondered how much money teams get for putting those patches on the uniforms. I think the Motorola patch on the Cubs uniforms looks terrible.
  13. The pre and post game show aren't as good without Frank Thomas. I thought that Thomas wasn't brought back this year is because he was too honest as to how bad the team was last year. He was very outspoken and I think JR didn't like it.
  14. I think that Brooke Fletcher is great. She's good at what she does.
  15. I was thinking about your comments about bringing up Julks, Dru Baker and Fletcherto finish out the season. I'm beginning to worry if they would be the starting outfielders in 2026. And if that is the case there's no hope to turn this around any time soon.
  16. You're probably right. I forgot about those players you mentioned. Its depressing to think they would be the starting outfielders.
  17. There has been talk on this site that Robert Jr, Benintendi and Tauchman might all be traded at the deadline. It is possible that all three might be traded. That would leave the team with an outfield of Taylor, Baldwin, Slater and Robertson. Obviously that would be one real bad outfield. I wonder if they would bring up Braden Montgomery. Who else would they bring up to play the outfield?
  18. 1) its not located in a popular location. 2) The upper deck is horrendous. Nobody wants to sit up there. 3) People on this site complain about the parking lots surrounding the stadium. I think the parking lots are one of the positives about the stadium. Most of their fans are from the suburbs and its easy to park there. The cost of the parking ($27.00) is decent as opposed to other MLB stadiums. I talked to fans of the Guardians and Giants on the last homestands and they mentioned how much more expensive it is to park their cars at the stadiums in Cleveland and San Francisco. Also White Sox fans like to tailgate in those lots.If they removed those parking lots at the stadium I think it would be a serious mistake.
  19. Its going to cost at least $900 million for the infrastructure for the 78. They are not going to spend that for 20 Chicago Fire soccer games. The 78 needs the White Sox at that location. The $900 million will come from the TIF funds.
  20. Obviously it doesn't bother JR one bit. The team lost 121 games last season and did nothing this past off season to improve the team. This present team has a dreadful record in one run games. All that needed to be done was to acquire a couple of hitters this past off season. I still think the game plan is to have the lowest payroll in MLB.
  21. I collect White Sox items. I've been trying to get an autographed 2024 White Sox team baseball without any success. Even my season ticket rep couldn't help me.
  22. If you offer them the most money, they will listen. I realize that JR isn't going to do that.
  23. I wonder how they are going to market this team in 2026. This year was promoted with this being the 125th year of the franchise and also the 2005 20th anniversary. They've had wonderful promotions this year. The bobbleheads and other giveaways have been great. I hope they continue that next year. Other than the giveaways I don't know how they can promote this team.
  24. All I know is that this team needs at least 2 real good hitters. If that isn't done this off season, 2026 is going to be another lost season.
  25. Sign Josh Naylor and Kyle Tucker this off season'
