August 26, 2025Aug 26 April and early May seem a lot kinder weather wise than what we normally see. Thank god.

August 26, 2025Aug 26 First time opening the season in Milwaukee since 1995 although this is the one I remember: April 9, 1985 - For future Hall of Famer Tom Seaver, it was his record 14th opening day start. For Ozzie Guillen, it was his debut in the Major Leagues. The two of them combined to help the Sox beat Milwaukee 4-2 at County Stadium. Guillen would get his first hit in the big leagues that day, a bunt single off future Sox pitcher Ray Searage in the ninth inning. Seaver would pick up the win.

I was at that game with a mixed group of Sox and Brewers.
August 26, 2025Aug 26 Playing the Cubbies again on my bday weekend....I hope it is not a 3 day ass kickin like it was up at Wrigley this season.
August 26, 2025Aug 26 They don't have to worry about weather. Would be nice if the opener in Milwaukee was a night game.

Perhaps Manfred needs examples of ridiculous travel schedules to help him achieve his dream of abolishing the American League and National League.

It's nice they play the Cubs two 3 game series again. I don't like the 2 game series bs. I'm in the camp where the more they play the cubs the more exciting the rivalry is. Hey, just noticed that's my birthday weekend too lol. Edited August 27, 2025Aug 27 by Ducksnort
