  1. Yeah I'd think he'd fill that role of Sept Callup guy that is the late inning replacement for defense and baserunning.
  2. Stop me if you've heard this before, but the White Sox aren't mentioned with any of these players.
  3. Nothing will happen until they get confirmation from the city that they'll be able to host fans. Then they'll have to figure out how to work that capacity amount around with the STHs. For spring training, a good portion of teams didn't have tickets available (at an extremely limited amount for non STHs) until a week or so prior to their first scheduled game. I imagine the market would/should be pretty thin for the most part, whenever they're made available.
  4. Yeah one would think so. Maybe a mid-season push to Winston if he's just mowing them down.
  5. He corrected in a follow up tweet that he meant Ethan, and Shelly Duncan is the analytics coordinator for the Sox now.
  6. I use a VPN at home to stream the games bc I experience lagging/buffering with the NBC app. I haven't had any issues when doing that with the MLB.TV app. It's actually my preferred method to watch the games now. I usually change that location to the Netherlands or Canada before I open the app and that does the trick.
  7. Burger was always going to make this list, it was just matter of where he landed.
  8. Conforto would be an ideal fit for the Sox lineup, but I'm not holding my breath about it.
  9. St. Paul Saints made the jump too, although they've done great attendance-wise for the last number of years.
  10. A team with owners willing to spend that much. It's no fault of the Dodgers that everyone else chooses to spend less year after year.
  11. Yeah and to think this was apparently out of range for the Sox to take a gamble on is ridiculous. Paxton as your #4 at that cost would've been absolutely worth the risk IMO.
  12. I saw him quite a bit when I would watch a lot of the MiLB.TV feeds back in 2019, it leaves a lot to be desired. If Yaz dropping a few balls here and there drives people up a wall, Yermin would make their heads explode. It's not to say that he won't/couldn't improve, but a lot of work needs to be done.
  13. But we were told that the owners suffered biblical losses! Don't you care about them and their biblical losses Chili¿?¿?¿
  14. apparently very well over the luxury tax
  15. Yermin needs to improve immensely behind the plate to be a third string catcher. At this point, placing a mattress behind the dish would be just about as effective. If he really wants to improve back there, he should never leave Jerry Narron's presence at ST.
