dohnut

We can only hope.

So, I’ve watched all or part of all 94 games… just like every year. This has to be the most disappointing.

Hey, we have a lineup!

Just tuning in. Glad to see an empty house for this shitshow.

I heard that, too. They also skipped the 1-2 walk “due to length of game and time constraints” ?

Before the season started, I had them at 90 wins. Now I’m thinking more along 81-83 wins and no playoffs.

I'll probably get eviscerated here... So, Tim is my favorite player on the current roster. And, Donaldson is a notorious a**hole. BUT, I don't think this was a race thing at all... I think Tim compared himself to an all-time great and a trailblazer and Donaldson tried to get under his skin (like he does). I'm not defending it, and I think that he should've gotten more than a 1-game suspension... but, to bash the guy as a racist is kind of crazy.

Still don't understand why they retired this - goosebumps every time. Let's sweep this short series and take it to the other Sox.

I’m not getting into all that, but with this team at 7-11 and 1-9 in their last 10, I don’t think we’re sniffing the playoffs.

Same - I’d be all for Ozzie at this point. Bring the fire back ?

Turned this one off when the Twinkies tied it up - I think we all knew what was going to happen. I’m not at the “scorched-earth, white-flag-at-the-deadline” point yet, but there has to be a big shake-up. Soon.

Lopez out of the bullpen

Ruh-roh.

Good send - just a perfect throw. Oh well. Anyone else watching mlb.tv seeing this talking butt commercial?

Lol - Vaughn? Nah - we’ll keep him ?

Yep - he’s gonna be great and we should’ve given him a qualifying offer. But, I’d bet my house he’s hurt by June.

That was disappointing... but, about 5 out of 7 of the projected 'better' teams lost their Opening Day so far. Don't panic - we've got 161 of these things to go, y'all

#1 Sox #2 Tigers #3 Twins #4 Cleveland #5 Royals

90 wins - and it’s going to be a rough 90. Out again in the ALDS (hope I’m pleasantly surprised).

I think people think that 2022 Kopech will be better than 2022 Rodon. And, that’s probably fair.

Paulie was the face of the franchise. And has an immortal "fist-in-the-air" statue on the concourse. And has a World Series ring. Abreu is a fine player at a position that is oversaturated. He has ROY and a Silver Slugger on terrible teams. TL;DR: Konerko will live in our hearts forever. Abreu will be an afterthought.
