  1. Because the pitcher is also throwing pitches that you will likely hit towards the shift.
  2. Sox games are good for helping us take care of personal life matters, like watching paint dry for instance.
  3. The FO assumes because they put together a talented roster that they were guaranteed multiple championships. They didn't realize other teams were putting talented teams together and would get better themselves. They invest big in short contracts. They invest big with bullpen arms because they know our defense is bad and the offense is still behind.
  4. The right guy will come to you when you least expect it.
  5. I forgot about Bummer.
  6. There is a movie you should watch from the 90's about this one time at band camp.
  7. You don't need to give up. But using other teams as examples isn't wise with our differences in success. There is enough data since the ASB of last year to show we have got to get a lot better.
  8. Please stop using the Braves as an example folks. Prior to winning it all they won 3 straight division titles in a much better division than we've seen the last few years. In 2020 they played in the NLCS and were one win away from the WS. That's before you factor in they had arguably the best infield in Baseball. There is no comparison to us.
  9. Last year a lot of people said the Cubs rebuild was disappointing. My response was at least they got to three NLCS' and won a title. That is never a given or should be taken for granted. This team looks like it just doesn't work. And we won't bring in good young talent to help out. Hahn ran this team like other team's wouldn't get better.
  10. Sox look like the baseball version of the Bulls. Can't defend, horrid stretches of no offense or impatient offense, and always hurt.
  11. Next, Stone will tell us that it takes 5 months to build a beautiful IKEA table.
  12. There is a silver lining to these past two games we should consider. I bet heavy on the Yankees as favorites and won some nice cash. Will pay for the Roache family vacation in a couple of weeks.
  13. Then you should watch that Rockies game.
  14. Hahn tries, he just sucks at veteran acquisitions.
  15. IF this was his thinking it is even worse.
  16. Yeah, I don't understand his logic here. We could have kept the damage to two runs and fought back from there. This organization needs some of that MJ and Kobe will to win. It seems like we believe we have our ticket punched to the ALCS and are already coasting.
  17. The gamethread didn't work. Joe was ass last night for sure.
  18. To do so he may need to actually play a month straight without injury.
  19. Boston can't hit right now and suck. They Yankees are a different animal right now.
  20. He was hitless through 5 I believe last start. Still better than DK and can slot in the pen if necessary.
  21. We are ultra conservative these days with injuries. I'd be shocked to see him playing in the MLB in less than 2 weeks now. Pleasantly shocked of course.
