Good idea running Fedde back out there. Just throw the game.

Rea looks just like Fedde.

I was right.

Third base coach is paid to send Benintendi on PCA's arm. OK...

Nope.

I think it is now much worse than that. My own thought is that Teel may have pushed the rehab beyond what may have been recommended. Dude was hobbling a bit around the bases a bit when he hit that home run in his first game in Charlotte. He looked like Kirk Gibson when he hit that bomb in the WS. Teel was supposed to be able to run before heading to rehab. That ended up being BS.

Everyone knew this was a throwaway game with Fedde starting.

Fedde is just throwing the ball, not pitching. With the bad news about Teel, this is turning into one depressing afternoon. We just can't have nice things.

I want to see the White Sox win now, As a White Sox fan, I could care less about Ishbia. I doubt that the greed and avarice exemplified in the acquisition and construction of his Winnetka estate or his corporate dealings should lead anyone to believe that he will spend one cent of his personal fortune on player contracts. I just read about the lawsuit against Ishbia by minority Shareholders of the Suns. That influenced my thoughts about the Ishbia "$$$$$" in this thread.

I would not be surprised if Roch, Jacob Gonzales, or some other prospect have better skills in certain areas than Meidroth, Vargas, Colson or Antonacci. However the current players fit perfectly within a team concept. No reason at all to mess with what has been working. Maybe trade prospects for what this team could really use - TOR starters, late inning set-up relievers, and a Closer.

Sam is about due for a HR.

Mune will be long gone unless he is signed to a new Contract before it expires in less than two years. Correct? Vargas will also have to be signed. Ishbia has never indicated that he would personally guarantee mega player contracts yet some fans believe he would. That would seem to be at odds with his private equity DNA and possibly with his personal values. Ishbia, owns the Nashville SC so it is odd that he would want a stadium located behind the Fire FC. Maybe if the RR yard deal falls through, Ishbia tanks the WSox and moves them to Nashville.

Ishbia is not relevant to contract negotiations/extensions at this point and may not be for several years (2034?) Meanwhile his team at Shore is trying to determine the cost of building a bridge over the canal. They may be on the wrong track so to speak.

When the Sox go to Wrigley for 3, it could be bombs away again. Maybe Teel and Braden will be up by then.

Peters is fantastic out there.

Not sure who Venable could rely on to pitch in relief tonight. Bullpen couldn't throw strikes until they had to, and then they got torched. Maybe Grant Taylor for two innings and then Dominguez ....if they have a lead. Need men on base ahead of home runs. Three solo shots didn't make up the difference yesterday. I was really surprised by the distance of Kelenic's HR, especially because it was to straight away CF. More please.

My own observation was that there were many more Cub fans than Sox fans out there. Maybe move the Sox further North to a much more inconvenient location. Then after attendance continues to tank, move the franchise out of this one horse town. Nashville? Sox fans would have no room to complain if that happens because, as a whole, they have not supported this team.

Maybe you were too young to experience Jerry's Chicago Bulls in the 1990's with Michael Jordan. Jerry spent a lot on those historic teams. Maybe you were also too young to recall the 2005 White Sox WS. Maybe not. Maybe your hatred for Reinsdorf taints your opinions of Jerry's boys this season. And it's not just you. I have a few friends that were WSox fans for years but their hatred for Reinsdorf now is palpable. Some of them refuse to go to another game until the Reinsdorfs no longer have a controlling interest in the team. Problem for them is that some of them may predecease JR. Also, there is no guarantee that whatever the roster is 8 years from now is anywhere near as good as the current one.

I give JR/Getz credit for constructing this unique, entertaining and winning roster. Now I want them to keep this group together. Don't over-analyze metrics or penny pinch, even on the periphery. Extend Mune, keep this group together. That will reward loyal fans and at the same time,. prove your critics wrong.

Grich seems to be filling that role so far, and, as he said on the post-game, he can be a valuable mentor to younger hitters. D Hill has also come through big as a RH pinch hitter. If Braden comes up he is a switch hitter that can help to balance the line-up. There is always room for improvement but, as long as the Sox keep winning series, the old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" applies.

Yea, he lifted during the off-season. I generally don't favor weight lifting for baseball players but that is another topic. Anyway, I hope Teel is on a plane to Chicago tonight. That would be a huge boost to the clubhouse and to the fan base.

I agree and I hate to say, Noah has likewise not looked very good in his last two starts. Maybe let the big guy keep slinging for a few games and see if he can cut down on walks before considering a demotion. Sox really need Noah as a staple in the rotation to compete this year. I am behind him 100%. A great kid from a great family.

Well these are still Jerry's boys so sit back, strap it down, and enjoy !

OK I understand rest, but it will cost a game.

I hope this is Quero's last game before Teel takes his place. Maybe a golden sombrero as a going away present.
