Yep.

Cannon - part of a disappointing pitching staff that is paving the way for Tanner McDougal and Hagen Smith.

As Hawk used to say..."He hung it...and he hurt it!"

Possible IL stint for Cannon ? It appeared that one reason he was pulled (in addition to not being able to throw a strike) was that some thing may have been bothering him.

Oh boy...Witt Jr . I'd just as soon walk in a run.

Whether or not Antonacci can become a good defensive OFer is yet to be determined.. At least there was some reticence by Management to start him in the OF on Opening day like they did with Acuna. Maybe Acuna can learn it on the fly but we shall see.

I hope for good weather Tuesday. If so I might go to see Noah's start. Very excited for him and his family. His father is such a great dad and a friendly, likeable human being.

Teel and Periera will return in a few weeks. Not soon enough. Not sure what you mean by saying that Mune and Chase lack range. Maybe an error or two within a small sample size , but that is a limitation of relying on Fangraphs for your opinions. You have to watch the games.

Not sure how long it will take to work those pitchers into the rotation but the outlook for our pitching staff is promising and exciting. Noah is a monster - 6' 11". If Noah can be a TOR starter instead of say Shane Smith, that alone could potentially add some wins. Smith has thrown away two games already. IMO our infield (Vargas Colson, Chase, Mune and Teel) is one of the best if not the best infield we have had since 2005. Maybe envision an outfield with Antonacci, Periera and Braden Montgomery instead of the players that are cycling in and out of the outfield now and things could look a little brighter for Sox fans. As it is, some fans are wishing the team gets sold now and even wishing JR passes away every time the Sox lose a game. I mean, I get as upset as anyone when the Sox lose a close game, but come on people, let's put some perspective on things and try to stay positive.

Relax and take your son to a Cubs game.

What is this bulsh!t? Cutting your son loose to be a Cub fan ? Have you cut your son loose on religious belief or did you indoctrinate him with yours? Either you aren't really a White Sox fan or you like making absurd, illogical posts after a White Sox loss. Either way, I don't give a fvk what you think.

Maybe 6 innings was enough for Davis....but Venable was asleep at the wheel.

Ballgame.

So no credit to Sox pitching?

Mune does not appear to be able to adjust his swing. He is trying to pull everything and pitchers are starting to eat him up.

Mune looks, like he is not seeing the ball.

At a boy. Go the other way.

Kaufman stadium is a joke.

Wasting a nice start by Davis. It looks like the Sox do not have a strategy at the plate. Try something else. Try anything.

Should've thrown at Caglione.

Murray...no chance.

Acuna has been so bad.

I doubt Murray lost sight of a routine fly ball and Acuna bailed him. It is possible, and perhaps likely, that Murray was expressing surprise that Acuna was encroaching on a ball he would have caught ....without calling for it.

I hope Ant learns the basics in the outfield like shouting "I got it" to avoid collisions and hitting the cut-off man, two lessons that seem to have eluded Acuna. There is more to playing OF though, and some of the skills like quickly gauging the appx distance and trajectory of fly balls and getting an early jump might be more innate - some can do it, others cannot. This season might just turn around if one or more of Noah Schultz, Hagen Smith or Tanner MacDougal come up to the majors AND a few guys like Fedde, Kay, Grant Taylor, Jordan Leisure, and Seranthony have good seasons. Offensively, I look forward to the best from Colson , Murakami, Sosa, Vargas, Teel, Chase and Periera. These players are going to hit home runs, and that alone should result in a fun year at the ballpark.
