Travis d’Arnaud signs with LAA 2Y/12M
3 years younger than Moldy. Actually has a history of hitting his way out of a wet paper bag. Hope it works out for everyone.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
State of Illinois would be better off adding 250 million to any offer made by a new owner for the Sox. Beats the hell out of helping an incompetent arrogant fool build a new park.

White Sox claim Penn Murfee
Unusual path to say the least. Good signing compared to most older bullpen guys.

Venable named new Sox Manager-per Merkin
Empathy is a wonderful thing. Lacking it let's you know when you're dealing with a douche right up front.

How the Sox went from 12th in fWAR/talent to last
Kopech coming in for the 9th. Trying to lock down game 3. I wonder what M. Vargas is doing right now. Probably working on dance moves for a rap video.

Jerry Reinsdorf open to selling the White Sox per Britt Ghiroli
Saw the headline on MSN. Was totally pumped. Came here and learned the details. The ultimate click bate. Drop dead Jerry.

Orioles might need an ace
Getz is a dope. No doubt. But if you quit trading, you'll lose Crochet for a draft pick in 2 years anyway. When you have something great like GC, the competition will be stiff. Almost anyone can play a royal flush.

Orioles might need an ace
After this debacle, O's might finally be willing to trade for Crochet. It's nice to keep your best prospects, but missing your window of opportunity could get a GM fired.

When did Larussa take over challenges for the Bears?

How can they even catch Minn in 3-5 years?
I'll bet the Twins don't have the pitchers in the minors the Sox do. It probably won't happen because of injuries, but we really do have a chance at a big 3. Schultz, Smith and Grant Taylor stack up to any organizations best pitching prospects. We've already got Crochet, Cannon, Sean Burke, Iriarte and a few others now. Good pitching could help turn the team around in 2-3 years. don't forget the 4-5 relievers in the minors like Pallette, Adler and the Throwin' Samoan.

The Mystery of Luis Robert
Noone can hit swinging at every pitch thrown to him. The other teams know this too. They start him out down and away and he swings anyway. He's lost his memory of what made him good. Is it the Sox's fault? They're both to blame. Benching him or telling him to take the first pitch for each at bat for a week might help.

9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
I know he ain't the greatest, but Chris Flexen earned his dough this year. Sure, his fastball can be clocked with a sundial. He did take the ball 30+ times and never bitched about the stiffs we put behind him though.

9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
I hope Crochet is pitching tomorrow. I also hope they bring up Schultz to pitch the last 4 innings for his MLB debut. F#$k the record.

2024 MiLB Catch All
Let's hear some noise for Sean Burke. Had his second good start in as many tries against the Padres today. Injuries and wildness have held him back until now. He really does have a plus arm. Keep up the good work Sean.

Gonzalez to Bham
3 hits today. He may be a bust, but not yet. Try to remember some guys don't get it as soon as others. The best example of this in my lifetime was Mike Schmidt. Didn't reach the majors until 23. His rookie year he hit .196 with a .697 OPS. Then he put up the best 14 year run of any player in the last 50 years. The only exception is HGH boy Barry Bonds. The funny thing is Bonds was the same way. He had two solid years at 22-23 and then started winning MVP's. Would have been a first ballot HOFer without the juice, but he got mad at cheaters Sammy Sosa And Mark McGuire getting all the headlines.

Sox hire David Keller from NYM to run int'l scouting
Poor coaching, poor execution. Cheaped out on the offensive line. Oops, wrong post board. I'll be back with some White Sox snark in a second.

9/18 game thread vs ANA
I've never understood how it can be so hard to find A GM and a manager Who simply have a baseball IQ of 97. Since we;re talking about the Sox I should point out that this is not a combined score.
