8/31 Games
I think he's up to 26 consecutive scoreless innings. Not bad for a guy who was getting crushed as a starter.

Chet Lemon in bad shape from multiple strokes
One of my all time favorites. Vastly underrated.

8/30 Games
He was drafted by the White Sox.

5-move day: Ramos and Peralta called up, Bush sent down, Senzel jettisoned and Jacob Amaya claimed. Ramos back down, Amaya up.
I would think a young guy would welcome the opportunity to play every day. This joker doesn't know when to make lemonade.

Brought in Jacob Amaya and sent out BRamos without playing in a game. BR should arrive back with Charlotte to watch Moncada taking his AB's. According to this sequence of events, The Sox value Moncada, Vargas and Amaya more than Ramos. Maybe that's why if we have a 50% gain in wins next year, we'll still lose over 100 games.

8/27 Games
Why would the Sox sit Bryan Ramos to give AB's to Moncada?

8/25 Games
Yeah. He's healthy again and has his timing back. He has always had the talent.

Getz’s Hilarious Hypocrisy
Sure, Getz is a real zero. At least he is self aware enough to realize what kind of losers end up in charge when you hire strictley from JR cronies and lifers.

Jake Burger trade
Jake is better than Vaughn or Sheets. He is 4-5 inches taller than AV and should have been our 1B this year. He is better than anyone we've played at 3B as well. Plus he's not a sourpuss. One thing about this years team is every player on it has under achieved. Jake plays hard and with a smile.

- MLB considering 6IP minimum for starters
Wouldn't limiting pitching staffs to 11 guys accomplish the same thing? I must admit I hate all the strike outs and pitching changes. Training your pitchers to throw as hard as possible all the time is why there are so many pitcher injuries. Starters are a stud if they pitch 200 innings now. Usually cutting 30-35% off a guys work load should reduce injuries.- 8/14 Games
Pallette's turnaround is almost unbelievable. ERA as a starter 7.48. ERA as reliever 0.67.- August 14 Game Thread, White Sox vs Yankees
Good to see anyone on this team do well.- NYY @ Sox
Has anyone noticed that Mena looks exactly like Bartolo Colon in the face? Start eating kid.- Benintendi
I almost got my ass beat in a tavern over a game of hockey. Thought the guy playing had cut in front of my pal and I. Called him an a##hole. He was bent over playing at the time I said it. After he was done he straightened up and was at least 5-6 inches taller than me. I've always written checks my 5'8" ass can't cash. Some how I'm still alive.:)- Sox "considering Colson"
Was gonna post the same thing. He's healthy and raking. Should be starting 3B next year.- 8/9 Games
I'd like to see Colson get 2 hits in a game. Really hope this season was caused by not enough reps in the lower classes. If it turns out he can't handle a good fastball, he's in trouble.- The Sox aren't spending "right now"
No reason to spend on free agents. But please, spend a ton on more scouts and proven instructors. This team has rotted to the core. Take it down to the studs, including Getz.- Sox Talk podcast reviewing the day...
AJ would be a welcome addition to this organization. Also a short one. He'd punch someone the first week. He always struck me as a guy who reallly wants to win. This group would drive him to violence.- Signings worse than Benintendi in the last 5 years
Jaime Navarro. He had the straightest fastball I've ever seen. His 5 million a year in the 90's was more than 16 million now.- Pedro Grifol, Charlie Montoyo, Eddie Rodriguez, & Mike Tosar Fired (Grady Sizemore interim manager)
pencil thin was one of Bermans best nicknames- 8/7 Games
Wes Kath is about 3 good games away from becoming a prospect again. Pallette another scoreless 2 innings.- Gamethread 8/7: We're #1 at #2
I'm really pulling for Benintendi to lead the team in homers. It would be the the funniest thing ever.- Gamethread 8/6: "Taylor" Made
Hey, Jonathon Cannon looks like a MLB pitcher. When he was drafted they said he had a high floor. It actually looks like the Sox got it right. He's not a big strike out guy, but all of his pitches move. He might end up being a good #3 or #4 for a long time.- 8/4 Games
Peyton Palette strong again. 2 inning save. Six weeks ago I truly thought he'd lost his career on the operating table. One of the few brights spots recently for the worst organization in any sport. - MLB considering 6IP minimum for starters
