Does this guy have a pulse? I'm not interested enough to find out if he's a good defensive OF. He hits LH and does a little of everything at the plate. If somebody wants to look up his splits, I'd look at the findings to see if he kills righties. if nobody looks it up, I'll survive.

I'd trade Vargas at any time. He has a very long swing. Decent defense at 3B isn't going to change that. I'm not saying he's a bum. He may have a season or two where he out peforms. I just can't see him being a core piece on a good team.

Sosa is a worse 2b than Jorge Orta was. I still liked Orta a lot anyway. If JO had a good glove, he'd be mentioned with Willie Randolph and Toby Harrah. I'd have to drink more Sox kool aid to list him with Bobby Grich plus Lou Whitaker. There isn't enough kool aid in the world for Joe Morgan

Quero is 2 years younger than Teel. He's gonna hit. I'd be more concerned about his back than anything else.

Teel looks like a guy who'll have 55-60 extra base hits a year. As a catcher he's Ted Simmons. As a first baseman he's Will Clark. He has good hands where ever you play him.

Quite likely BMont is in Chicago next May. Antonacci might be right behind him. The Sox could hit 70+ wins next year. I wonder what happens with Schultz. If it was the knee holding him back, 2027 could be a breakout year for the big league club.

Sometimes, changing stuff makes things worse. IMO this is one of those times. Messing with league changes won't help baseball.

Not sure I agree. Taylor Schultz or Hagen Smith could be top 100 if one of them puts it together.

Just thinking out loud about him. I'd really like to watch him hit on TV. So many guys who walk all the time don't have enough physical tools to handle MLB fastballs and sliders. I'm rooting for him. Honestly happy nothing has happened. Trading Taylor could be a disaster. He's young and talented, plus we're two years away. Retain Robert and see what happens next year.
