If Teel and Quero do no better than they have been doing for the next 8 weeks, They would be more valuable than gold. 23 year old catchers who don't strike out much, hit the ball hard, take a bunch of walks and play solid defense are true unicorns. I'm sure a lot of it is simply the losing. That makes it hard to stay sharp. I had a really good paying job that I quit once because I hated it there. Losing 80% of the time probably makes many guys hate coming to the park every day. Say what you want about personal pride and professionalism. Losing affects evey one differently.
