I hope he stays and the option is picked up. He has pitched well. The woman behingd the allegations is a piece of work herself, and he's been toeing the line this year. If he pitches well next year, we can trade him then.

Bad news I think. Not about Getz though. Noah Schultz hasn't pitched in almost 3 weeks. Just get the surgery already.

He really hasn't done anything bad tonight, but I hate watching Vaughn play 1st as much as watching Kopech pitch. I'm not kidding now, but there is no way Eloy could be as bad as AV at 1B with about one weeks experience.

Does it seem like Sosa isn't completely overmatched any more. The last 2 weeks he at least looks like an MLB player at the plate. I don't think his range is gonna get better though. Hands and arm look OK.

Really don't remember these wave of pitchers you're talking about. Usually in my lifetime it has seemed we may have 3-4 pitcher prospects at a time, and sometimes less. when the Sox were good in the early nineties we had a surplus of talent with Black Jack Fernandez, Alvarez and Bere. Right now we do have many good pitcher prospects. Don't take my word for it, look it up.

I honestly think the next management team will have some real success. Colson, Ramos and Quero will change things with their skills. Guys who hit for a high average and also take a lot of walks can make even idiots look smart. They also have talented pitching prospects again. Enough of them so that if half of them crap out, it won't kill the team.

Anyone hear the buzz about Mattingly? Phillies player development, and Dons son. Saw a blurb about him online this morning.
