The Dodgers have a ton of MLB ready prospects you can easily put a deal together on.

Wonder if Max Muncy could be available as they have Vargas in the wings and Muncy had a bad year and expensive 2023.

Rodon to the Yankees, $162 million
They literally have one of the best starting staffs in baseball.. How is this not "strong": Urias, Kershaw, Gonsolin, May, and then like 3 top 100 SP that are all knocking on the door and ready for MLB. They'll be just fine with some cheapish depth addition. There is no need to get below the tax because of this "not strong" staff.. EDIT: Yes, they could use Giolito or anyone.. But to insinuate they have a weak staff is asinine.

The team you just listed would have the best record in the AL.

Gallo aboslutly is an upgrade.. Though he'd be behind Conforto, and Benintendi for me

Liam Hendriks coming up in trade discussions
We have enough bullpen money tied up. Would be ideal to free some of that up. After the disaster of 2022, not sure if the Sox can afford to trade prospects at this moment.

I think the best path to improving the team, since Jerry refuses to spend money is dealing one of Hendriks or Graveman. Graveman would be a dump that just opens his money up for another signing. Hendriks allows you to solve an issue via the trade. I'd prefer the Graveman route personally

The idea is you trade him for Lux (or similar) which solves 2B and then with that 14 mil you sign Conforto/Gallo and "solve" the OF and left handed hitting. It could work and aboslutely improve the team. If Kelly bounces back, this is still a fine bullpen

I agree. I'd think you should be able to salary dump him which seems like a better idea. But if we can get a serious return for Hendriks, that would be fine too

Hendriks for Stott swap makes sense for both sides. Would allow Phillies to re-sign Segura who may fit the "win now" bill better anyways.

I'd totally be on board with taking 1-2 guys. There's literally no risk.. If you take a BP arm and he sucks, he can go back to their team. If we take Misner and he can't handle the 4th OF role, he can go back to the Rays. If we aren't going to spend some money to improve the team, take a free guy(s) who is better than what we've already got.
