Personally I think your plan of trading Eaton and starting Saladino and Sanchez would have worked wonders. Melky too since you spent all offseason telling us that he was a horrible offensive player

Out of all the disappointments this year (and there have been a lot) Rodon has been one of the biggest. This guy now looks like he has no idea what he wants to do out there.

I was going to say, is Rodon any good at all? He's 2-8. I know records don't matter. I just look at our starting rotation and figure when that turns to s*** our team is going to be one of the worst in baseball history. The rotation has been about the only positive the last few seasons.

The good news is that if he keeps sucking, maybe we can keep him for a while. Otherwise, with Boras as his agent, he'd be gone as soon as we lose team control.

Ignoring ERA, Gonzalez has pitched almost exactly the same as he did with the Orioles, and Shields has been demonstrably worse with the White Sox than with the Padres.
