It's Twitter, and people act like a team account is run by the GM, coaches and owner. Twitter should be a place where fans can communicate with the team, and be an outlet for you. Not just a promotional tool to push tickets and updates.

I guess I just expect them to act a certain way since no other team does what they do in regards to subtle trolling.

 

They can talk s*** now, because they won't be able to in a couple days.

2. The Cubs have had the same tone on social media for the last 3 seasons.

The Cubs and Kaminsky exchange has been entertaining from both sides, not sure why we wouldn't want stuff like that on social media. Nothing malicious, just stupid fun. And I always love the Kings and CM Punk back and forth's during hockey season.

That account and Frank are clearly having fun with this, I don't see why anyone would ever have a problem with this. If it wasn't the Cubs, you wouldn't care if we're being honest.

 

It has the same tone as their fans do, which is probably why it annoys so much.

The lady next to me snored for a bit but otherwise I think everyone was just tired so not really. The flight attendants did play that horrible Go Cubs Go song when we landed so that sucked.

I disagree. The fact is, people want to see the Cubs. That's why they are on prime time constantly.

 

Ratings = results here. Smart move by baseball/media to be doing this.

Normally I agree that ratings = results but they are doing it to the detriment of other teams. Give them the prime time spot but if you start f***ing with other teams to get that accomplish, that's when the line needs to drawn. If they really cancelled that f***ing game on Sunday so they wouldn't dig into the Cubs game that's f***ing wrong. I would say that for any team.

You are right. I apologize, didn't realize what had happened (just read the article). That is bonkers and not fair.

That's too bad. Last year I went to see Rush at the UC. My brother was in town and wanted really good seats. Stubhub was ridiculous, there were some pricey deals on Craiglist for tickets up front. I contacted a couple of people and told them we would pay them an extra $100 per ticket if they put the tickets on Stubhub. They wouldn't do it, so obviously phony. Wound up waiting Stubhub out and got 2nd row dead center for my final Rush show.

 

But everyone needs to be careful. Scammers are everywhere. Stubhub has a guarantee.

 

Father bought 5 Bulls tix off Stubhub last year (which I use often). One person backed out so we sold their ticket to a scalper.

 

Went to enter and got an error on their scanning machine. They took us to the back and told us the tickets were fake. They were about to escort us out of the building when the ticket person was called for an emergency elsewhere in the building. Luckily, we got to stay in the game

 

So, we got our money back from Stubhub but also made money by selling the extra. Paid to be at the Bulls game...I feel bad if that ticket ended up being sold.

 

Saw the Dodgers last night in the +125 range and now they are the favorites. Pretty good swing there. Hope vegas knows.

Hawks tickets really cheap on stubhub due to this game.

id go in high and tight to rizzo. And hard. Don't care if it hits him in the face, you can't let a guy dive out over the plate like that with his entire back shoulder over the plate
