I wonder if there is a statistical correlation to early starts and pitching domination.

Man, in all of the prospect mania, there's Alec Hansen.

Its nice to see Hansen do well but he should be blowing these guys away. I thought he should have started in High A.

Line drive single from Moncada in the 1st. Idk how the guy makes hard contact so consistently but it's nuts.

Thrown out stealing second.

11/28 4 bb, 10 k's (hope he can keep that bb/k relationship at 50% or higher).

 

Fulmer is quietly off to the best start of the Big 3 at Charlotte. Slick 2.25 era for now.

Good to see Johan cruz with another hit. It'd be nice to get a full year of health and some punch at the plate from him.

 

I feel the same way about Jameson Fisher and Micker Adolfo.

So much for Fulmer's start

Wow Fulmer victimized with some brutal defense. Going to register as two hits so all 3 are earned but should've been out of the inning awhile ago.

Fulmer got dicked by his defense there. Groundball up the middle, the SS fielded it, but instead of throwing to 1st for the 3rd out, he tried to run to tag 2B. He slipped, then dove to the base and the runner beat him. So now it's bases loaded for Fulmer, and the next batter hits a towering drive to the RF wall and it appears to go off the RF's glove at the wall and all 3 runs score.

 

All 3 SHOULD be unearned, because of either the SS or the RF, but both were ruled hits.

Moncada takes the first pitch he sees and drive it oppo high off the LCF wall for a double. Moncada read the throw in from the OF and kept cruising all the win in to 3rd without a throw.

 

2 for 2, single, double.
